They ordered pizza ate chips, and played games until they were finally tired.
The next morning, Leo told Scott he had a lot of fun but had to go home as his parents would worry about him.
"Nice boy," Mrs. Lane said.
"He is," Scott smiled.
"Scott, may I ask you something?"
"Sure, mom."
"You like him as more than a friend, don't you?"
"I- just met him, but from what little time I've spent with him, I like him, Mom. "
"Just be careful, son."
"I promise, but we have rehearsal, so I must get going."
"Wait before you get going-
"Mom, if this is about the guy you're seeing. Morgan and I both know and we're happy for you."
"Really?"
"Really. Invite him to dinner sometime so we can interrogate, I mean, to get to know him." Mrs. Lane laughed.
"He's coming to dinner Thursday night."
Scott hugged his mom and hurried out the door.
