Back at their penthouse, Sarang and Rahyun were in the midst of getting ready for the party, each of them taking their time to perfect their looks. The room was illuminated by the soft glow of vanity lights that reflected off the large mirror they shared.
Sarang's side of the vanity was a chaotic mix of makeup products, jewelries, and hair accessories, while Rahyun's was meticulously organized, with each items neatly laid out.
The latter was already halfway through curling her hair, her movements quick and confident. She had chosen a vibrant, off-the-shoulder dress in deep shade of red that perfectly complemented her lively personality. As she worked on the final touches, she hummed along to the upbeat music playing in the background–Moonstruck by ENHYPEN.
"You're going to look amazing in that dress, Rahyun," Sarang said, glancing over her best friend, who was still deliberating between two outfits. "But you should totally go with the black one– it's perfect for you"
Rahyun held up the black dress, examining it in the mirror. It was a sleek, elegant piece that hugged her figure in all the right places without being too flashy. Despite her usual preference for more casual attire, she could see the appeal of the dress Sarang suggested. She sighed, giving in to her best friend's enthusiasm.
"Alright, black it is."
As Rahyun slipped into the dress, Sarang beamed in approval. "See? I told you! You look gorgeous."
Rahyun smiled softly, adjusting the straps of the dress and smoothing out the fabric. She wasn't used to dressing up like this, but she had to admit, it felt nice to step out of her comfort zone a change. "Thanks, Sarang. I think I'll go with a simple look tonight—nothing too bold."
"Simple but stunning," Sarang corrected, handing Rahyun a pair of silver earrings. "These will match perfectly."
Rahyun nodded, putting the earrings on and then reaching for her makeup. She opted for the subtle look—soft eyeliner, a touch of mascara, and a nude lipstick that enhanced her natural beauty without being too over-the-top. While Sarang preferred bold colors and dramatic styles, Rahyun's approach was more understated, highlighting her quiet confidence.
As Rahyun finished her makeup, Sarang was already picking out her accessories. She chose a pair of dangling gold earrings and a delicate bracelet, adding just the right amount of sparkle to her ensemble.
"So, any special reason you're dressing up tonight?", Rahyun teased as she watched her friend.
Sarang grinned, her excitement was evident. "Maybe I'm just in the mood for a little attention tonight. And who knows? Maybe Jungwon will notice"
Rahyun raised an eyebrow playfully. "Ah, so it's about Jungwon, then?"
Sarang laughed, not denying it. "Well, maybe a little. But it's also about having fun! We haven't had a chance to unwind in a while, so tonight's the perfect opportunity."
"True," Rahyun agreed, finally feeling a bit more excited about the evening ahead. She wasn't one to seek out parties, but with Sarang by her side, she knew it would be an enjoyable night.
