Chapter I: A Friendlyish Exchange

Kieran's POV

                 As The days of July flew by around the middle of the Month, I  was in my room sitting in my bed with a few parchments, my quills, and an ink bottle. Flock was perched on the headboard of my bed. I grabbed the First Parchment and began writing the first letter. 

Dear Hermione Granger,

              I hope you're having a splendid summer! I've been thinking about you and wondering how your break is shaping up. Have you been diving into any interesting books? What have you been up to? I would love to hear the details of your summer break. I've been curious about how Harry and Ron are doing as well. It would be great to hear if they've been up to anything exciting. I would write Ron but he just flat out wrote asking me to stop so I've been respecting his wishes. As for Harry, I  do not feel comfortable writing him. He and  I were not close last year despite all the help I provided the four of you. Even if we are in different houses I am looking forward to see you, maybe if im not studying with Theodore Nott, You and I could Study together. On my end, I recently spent a wonderful week at the Greengrass estate with some friends. It was a delightful escape and a great way to recharge before we dive back into the school year. Tho, I wasn't the same as hanging with them at Hogwarts. Looking forward to your news!

                     After I finished writing the letter for Hermione, I rolled it up and tied it up like I usually did with all the letters and placed it on the basket, near Flock's Perch. I then grabbed the next parchment and began writing it.

Dear Hector Granger,

                    I hope your summer is treating you well! I've been thinking about you and wondering how things are going. Are you finding some good ways to relax and enjoy your time off? I was curious what do your muggle parents do for work? I kind of interest to learn a bit more about them, some muggle professions are strange in my opinion. I hope you're finding your summer to be both refreshing and enjoyable. Are you looking forward to go to Hogwarts? If you are, how does it feel to be the only muggle born in our house?

                    Just like with Hermione's letter, I rolled it up and tied it up then I placed it next to Hermione's letter on the small basket.  I grabbed the next Parchment and began writing. 

Dear Zachary Richardson,

                     I hope your summer break has been enjoyable so far! I'm curious to hear how you've been spending your time. If I remember correctly You got a magical beast enciclopedia on Chrismast break? Have you been reading it? Is it interesting? After Fluffy and Norbert I've been a little curious  about magical beast so I might ask about the book someday, who knows. Also, if you've heard any news about Harry and Ron, I'd be eager to know. Because as I told you last letter Ron just flat out wrote asking me to stop so I've been respecting his wishes. As for Harry, I do not feel comfortable writing him. He and I were not close last year despite all the help I provided the four of you. I also wonder how you dog is, I might have been angry at him for chasing Hoax but I know he is a cutie, I might pet him if that didn't make Hoax Jelous. Are you hoping we have a calm year this time? I don't want to get into drama or an investigation. Hope to hear from you soon!
