~Ethel's POV~Letizia was going wild.
I slowly dragged my gaze away from the Luna, and turned my attention to the Alpha. Because there is no way at all that I, Ethel Krystalynn, seventeen year old loner, can be mated to the Luna of a pack, ALREADY MATES WITH THE ALPHA.
It just doesn't make sense.
The alpha looked at me, and spoke up.
"Why are you here? Where do you come from, and who are you?" He demanded to know. He used his alpha tone, and got an angry scowl and a hit on the chest by the Luna.
I began shyly, not sure I wanted to tell them. "I don't know why I am here. I was running from something until I passed out. Then I was here. I lived about seven hours from here, I think. A-and my name is Ethel. Ethel Krystalynn." I answered, not wanting to be yelled at.
It was time the Luna spoke up. "Antonio, let me talk to Ethel. Okay? In private." He had no time to respond before I was dragged out of the room. We went down the hall before entering another room, where no one was.
After checking to make sure no one was there, she pulled me closer to her, burying her face into my neck. She inhaled my scent, and exhaled with a breathy "Mine." Mixed in.
I stood nervously, as shocks came from my neck and my waist, as butterflies took over my fear. I was still confused though. If she was mated to an Alpha, she wouldn't be mated to me. Maybe it was a forced mating? Or not true mates?
The Luna sensed my curiosity. "My name is Massima Adamas, the Luna of the Blood Stone pack. I know that I have mated to the alpha, but he isn't my true mate. Well, he was, but I rejected him. He wasn't loyal. So we made a promise. I would not be a true mate but instead just his luna. If I were to find my mate, I could go to him, or her in this case. And if the alpha were to die, than you, technically, would take his place."
I gasped loudly. Female alphas didn't exist, unless they were lunas. I sighed, and looked at the luna once more, studying her features.
She looks like she would be the man of our relationship, not that I'm complaining. I was always the one who loved to be treated the best when possible. Mostly because I didn't have as much love as most from my parents as a child, so I love it.
I took a second to look at Massima. She was beautiful in my eyes, and most likely a lot of other people's, too. She had pale, porcelain skin, that seemed to have a loving glow to it. She had long, dark brown hair that made her eyes pop. But there was something about those eyes the made me stop and stare. They were a type of magenta, but only around the rim. They seemed to spiral ombre down to a deep purple just outlining the black in her eye. Today, she wore a long, silky black dress, that seemed to sway as she walked, though it only came down to about mid thigh. It was obvious that the Alpha made her wear it. She had lace sleeves going up to her elbow, and black boots with tall stiletto heels, that had zippers coming down each side. Her red lips seemed to go perfect with her skin, and she looked to be young. She didn't look elegant, as someone would expect. But younger and more,... what's the word? Laid back.
Letizia howled happily, and my heart swelled as I stood, adoring my mate. I simply couldn't compare, I was just plain Ethel. I stared at her, carefully. I wanted to see.
My bloodline isn't Royal or Alpha, so we aren't that special. But of course, I have that birthmark on my back for a reason. We were moon Goddess and Sun Gods, and when the Moon Goddess or Sun God passes, one of us take their place. We don't have special abilities, at least not noticeable ones. You get them when you become the God or Goddess. So, we are just normal werewolves unless we get chosen. But our mate bond is stronger. And they detect emotions and pain better than Alphas. And something, was very wrong.
