John walked confidently toward his classroom, his mind still buzzing with thoughts of his newfound powers and the possibilities they held. He had spent countless hours training, pushing himself to the limits in the special training room Principal Peter had introduced him to. Now, with each step he took, he felt the strength of the Berserker Power humming beneath his skin, ready to be unleashed.

As he turned a corner, deep in thought, he suddenly collided with someone, almost knocking her over. Startled, he reached out to steady her.

"Oh, I'm sorry! Are you okay?" John asked concern immediately filling his voice as he took in the sight of the girl before him. She was petite, with long, dark hair that fell in soft waves around her face. Her eyes, wide with surprise, met his, and he noticed a faint blush spreading across her cheeks.

The girl quickly gathered her scattered books, mumbling a soft, "I'm fine," before hurrying away, her face still red with embarrassment.

John watched her retreat, confusion, and amusement flickering across his face. "She must be shy," he muttered to himself, shrugging it off as he continued on his way to his classroom.

Inside, the atmosphere was lively, and his classmates already buzzing with anticipation. Word had spread quickly about John's power, and everyone was eager to see it in action. As he entered the room, his classmates turned to him, their eyes filled with curiosity and excitement.

"Alright, class, today we have something special," Mr. Thamos, their teacher, announced, drawing everyone's attention to the front. "John here has recently discovered his power and will be demonstrating it for us."

John felt a surge of nervous energy as he stood up, making his way to the front of the classroom. His heart pounded in his chest, but he pushed the nerves aside. This was his moment. Taking a deep breath, he focused on the Berserker Power, letting it rise to the surface. His eyes began to glow a faint red, a visible sign of the power that now flowed through him. With a few swift, controlled movements, he demonstrated the raw strength and speed that the Berserker Power granted him.

As he finished, the classroom erupted in applause, the sound filling the room with an almost electric energy. "Nice power!" Oliver, one of his classmates, exclaimed, clapping his hands with genuine enthusiasm.

John glanced around, his eyes sweeping over the room until they landed on the new girl he had bumped into earlier. She was sitting quietly at the back, her face still slightly flushed as she clapped softly, her gaze fixed on him.

"Nice power, John," Mr. Thamos said, nodding in approval. "What kind of power is this?"

John straightened up, feeling a sense of pride as he responded. "It's called the Berserker Power. It's very rare and very powerful."

Mr. Thamos raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. "Well, I suppose you are the first student to have such a rare power in this school. You should be proud, John. This is no small feat."

The bell rang, signaling the end of class and the start of lunch. As his classmates began to file out, John noticed the new girl, Mayla, sitting alone at a table in the cafeteria. She was focused on something, her hands moving skillfully over a sketchbook. Curiosity piqued, John made his way over to her, his interest growing as he got closer.

"What's she drawing?" he wondered to himself as he peered over her shoulder just as she finished a drawing. His eyes widened in surprise and amusement-she had drawn a picture of him, but with exaggerated, muscular abs, making him look like some kind of superhero.

"Uh... excuse me?" John said, trying to keep his voice calm despite his shock.

Mayla jumped in her seat, slamming her sketchbook shut, her face turning a deep shade of red. "You saw nothing!" she blurted out, clearly mortified.

John couldn't help but chuckle, though he was still a bit taken aback. "I saw that!" he teased gently, his tone light and playful.

"No, you didn't!" she insisted, her embarrassment only deepening as she buried her face in her hands.

There was an awkward silence between them, neither of them knowing quite what to say next. Finally, Mayla, still flustered, peeked at him through her fingers and spoke. "So... what's your power?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

John cleared his throat, trying to move past the awkward moment. "My power is called the Berserker Power. It's pretty intense. What about you?"

Mayla seemed to relax a little, the topic of conversation helping to ease her embarrassment. "Mine's Laser Eyes," she said, a shy smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

John's eyes lit up with genuine interest. "Laser Eyes? That's awesome! Must be cool to have that kind of power."

Mayla nodded, her smile growing a bit more confident. "Yeah, it's pretty cool... but it can be a little hard to control sometimes," she admitted, her tone more comfortable now.

John chuckled softly, understanding the struggle of controlling a powerful ability. "I get that. It takes time to master something like that. I'm still getting used to mine, too."

Mayla hesitated for a moment, her shyness returning as she gathered the courage to ask him a question. "Um... do you want to get dinner together after school?" she asked, her voice almost trembling with nerves.

John blinked in surprise, feeling his cheeks heat up at the unexpected invitation. He hadn't been expecting this, but the idea of spending more time with Mayla intrigued him. After all, she seemed nice, and getting to know her better wouldn't be such a bad idea.

"Uhh... sure," John replied, nodding with a shy smile. "Why not? After lunch, it's dismissal after all."

Mayla's face lit up with a mix of relief and excitement. "Great! I'll see you there!" she said, her voice filled with nervous energy as she hurriedly packed up her things.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, John couldn't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions. The day had been full of surprises-from discovering his incredible new power to meeting a girl who, despite her shyness, seemed genuinely interested in him. And now, he had a dinner date with someone who might just become a new friend, or maybe something more.

As he gathered his belongings and headed out of the school, John smiled to himself. The world was full of possibilities, and for the first time in a long while, he felt like he was on the right path. Maybe, just maybe, this was the beginning of something great.
