Yuu was fed up. He pushed his golden hair back with his one hand, and looked at the ceiling. Why couldn't he find any medical supplies in the fucking MEDICAL office. There was only Tylenol and Morphine, but still, it was better than nothing. He chugged down 3 Tylenol pills without water and coughed. He wanted more, it all still hurt. His brain throbbed, his legs and arms wouldn't stop shaking, some more wouldn't hurt right? No. He was smarter than this, he was a doctor (in training) no way would he overdose on Tylenol in the apocalypse, he would die. He chucked the Tylenol to the corner of the room pills spilling out of the top as it rolled back.

"Stupid, stupid, STUPID." He yelled. Something shifted behind the door, all he knew about it was that it would probably eat him. When had this become the norm anyway? Assuming everything would eat him. He had been locked in this doctor's office for days, but he can't help but do nothing and just stare at the door. He reached out his hand, anything was better than this room. He had so many people he missed, his parents might still be alive. He missed all of them.

He called bullshit, did he really miss any single one of them? Did they really he like or love him, he was more sure about this room than he was about people he had known for years. Could he really even love? He was given so many opportunities yet he let them all slip away. He was useless. His future, his career, he had spent his entire life working up to become a doctor, so much pressure was on him to become one, and he failed. No way could he become a doctor. No way he could save lives, all he had done is run away. Run away from the screams, run, run, run, run,

"Stupid, stupid, STUPID," he called out again, no one responded. He was shivering, tears streamed down from his eyes again. He hated himself, he hated who he was, he hated who he was becoming, he hate who he wanted to become. Everything about himself was hate-able. From the way he walked, to the way he breathed. Maybe a world without him was a better one. No. He didn't care about anyone else, the only real reason he wanted to be a doctor anyways was for the paycheck and the status. He wanted to be even more popular than he already was. It wasn't that he didn't want to exist in the world, he wanted the world. The woman, the money, being showered with praise. That's why he wanted the world. All their attention had to be focused on him. Why else would anyone want anything else?It was stupid emotion he had never felt towards anyone else. Love.

He looked at himself in the mirror, his golden hair dripping with sweat, his brown eyes glaring with self hate. His blood stained doctors coat hanging off one shoulder. Heavy breathing could be heard. His ripped pants hanging from one side of his waist. Everywhere on his body leaked of injury and pain. His face squinted at the mirror, all the scratches on his face ached. Was this someone that deserved the world in his hand? Was this the kind of person that deserves love?

"Oh your son is so smart!" The old mother laughed.

"Oh we know!" The black haired young woman giggled. Her expensive clothes drooping down her body.

"Such an outstanding little guy." The older, brown haired man pinched the young Yuus cheek. It hurt. He had just gotten an award for 'youngest prospect' Yuu felt proud as he held the golden trophy in his hand. It was his he had worked so hard for it, even though he was young, only 8 years old, he was doing 6th grade math. Definitely a genius in the making. The auditorium was filled with gathering parents and families. Parents yelled and projected how special their kids were. 'My child can already cook! He's only 7, what a little chef!' 'My kid just moved up a grade!' That wasn't special, he was special. This award proved it. Only one person in the school got it and it was him. He was the only talented one. The man snatched the award out of Yuus hand,

"I'll hold onto this." He whispered. Yuus hands were cold. The warm feeling of the award had left his hands. That was his.

"Oh with you look at the time!" The man laughed as he looked at the watch, "It looks like it's someone's bedtime!" He ruffled Yuus hair. The young woman began to pack up their belongings. Her expensive purse caught the eye of many mothers. She pushed down the sunglasses on her head.
