Christmas[20]

MADS POV
After a week full of planning and preparations, it was finally Christmas Eve and everything was ready.

I worked on the decorations and Bella on the food. Right now she is still cooking in the kitchen getting everything ready for tonight.

We also went shopping for gifts for our families but what Bella doesn't know is that I got her something too. It is a gold chain bracelet with little cute charms on it, one being my initial, a little shell cause we love the beach, a little camera, a bow and some other really cute charms that have something to do with our relationship. I really hope she loves it.

"Do you need any help princess ?"I asked Bella who had like three pots on the stoves and two pans in the oven

"Mads go away right now because I am this close to snapping at you and I don't want to deal with the guilt after" Bella said, clearly very stressed and upset. So see here is where I don't know what to do. Do I leave her alone like she asked me to ? Or do I stay and try to help her calm down ? God this girl is confusing.

I decided on calling Hailee for some advise, since she does seems to have the answers to everything. So I walked away from the kitchen, where Bella couldn't hear me

"Hey Madison what's up ?" Hailee said when she picked up the phone

"I need your advice with something for Bella" I said pacing around,a little nervous now for Hailee's reaction

"Go ahead"

"So um she is very clearly stressed. She is cooking for tonight and I asked her if she needed help and she told me to go away because she is about to snap at me and I don't really know what to do. Do I leave her alone or do I try and calm her down ?" I rambled nervously

"Okay tough one right there, let me think" Hailee said I waited patiently

"I say just walk up to her, turn any stoves off, grab her hand and move her out of the kitchen and just hug and kiss her. But do NOT say anything at all. Just keep doing everything without talking. And when you get her to relax a bit, well I think you know what to do then" Hailee said after a moments of thinking

"Okay okay I'll do that"

"Oh and if she does get mad, please don't be upset with her cause it will make it 10 times worse"

"Yes yeah of course. Thank you so much Hailee, you're a life saver"

"No problem, call me if you need anything else" Hailee said and hung up

So I walked back in the kitchen and grabbed Bella shoulders, pulling her gently away from the pots.

"Mads what are you doing ?" Bella frowned and looked at me

I turned the stoves of and gently held her hand and brought her in the living room

"Mads what the hell is going on ? Why did you do that ?" She asked more questions but I didn't answer. Instead I wrapped my hands around her waist, palms resting at her hips and my head was on her shoulder. She hesitantly hugged me back.

I slowly sat her down on the couch and I kissed her hand a couple times

"Babe ?" She said, way more calm now

"Listen to me honey, you need to relax. You are very tense and I know you want everything to be perfect and it will be but don't be so hard on yourself and let me help you" I smiled at her and kissed her hand again

"Don't push me away cause I know you're really anxious but I am here to help always. So let me and we can make this fun again okay ?" I smiled at her

"Yeah okay" She whispered and I pecked her lips a couple times causing her to giggle
