Omniscient Pov:
The sun peaked through the curtains, shining through on the boy cuddled up in warm sheets, known as Mekhi.
The door slowly opened, revealing his boyfriend of 5 years, Dashawn, who walked into the room seeing his lover sleeping peacefully.
He crept over to the sleeping boy, crouched down near him, and softly shook him.
"Baby boy, it's time to wake up" Shawn cooed.
The younger boy slowly opened his eyes and stretched his arms, looking up fondly at the man he's loved all these years.
"Good morning and Happy Anniversary my baby" Dashawn smiled down at his love.
"Morning and Happy Anniversary to you too papa" Khi replied with his own tired smile.
Mekhi hopped out of bed and made his way to the bathroom to begin his morning. He did his usual routine of brushing his teeth and washing face.
After finishing up in the bathroom, he walked back into the room to see his lover sitting at the edge of their bed. He made his way over to him, standing in between his legs.
"How about I go cook us breakfast?" The shorter proposed, leaning down and pecking his boyfriend's lips.
"Let's do it" Dashawn grinned up at his lover.
"I'M gonna do it, I remember the first time you tried to cook for me" Khi laughed thinking of the memory.

"It's cool pa when you come back it's gonna be a nice dinner waiting for you." Dashawn spoke to his boyfriend who was about to go run some errands.
"Oh my god Shawn please don't burn the house down" Mekhi pleaded to his lover.
"Mane I got this, I'm a pro" the older sucked his teeth. "Alright bae if you say so" the smaller shook his head, despite knowing Shawn ain't ever cooked anything in his life.
