Omniscient pov:
Isaiah held his husband's hand as they drove to the adoption agency. A few months ago they decided they were ready to have a kid and now today is the day.
"Baby calm down, we almost there" Chris laughed, noticing his husband fidgeting in his seat. "I'm sorry, I'm just so excited, I've been waiting for this ever since we met him!" Isaiah said.
A few months ago when they first decided to adopt a child, they went down to the agency to talk them about it. After they got approved, they looked around the orphanage, seeing all the kids. They immediately decided on who they wanted to be their child.
His name was Messiah and he was sitting in the corner all alone. Both Chris and Isaiah felt attached to him because they were alone most of their lives until they found each other. They wanted it to be the same for him.
At first he barely talked to them and was pretty scared. But after they talked and played with him for a while he eventually warmed up to them. They even went to go see him every other day until he was just as attached to them as they were him.
The agency told them about his past. His parents both died trying to protect him when their house was getting robbed, him only being four years old at the time. After it happened, he wouldn't talk to anyone or even eat. It was now a year later and they could now give little Messiah his happy ending.
They pulled into the agency, Isaiah hopping out of the car before Chris could even stop good. They both walked in together and went to the front desk. "How can I help you today?" The secretary smiled at the couple.
"We are here to adopt a little boy named Messiah Williams" Isaiah responded. The woman nodded her head and typed on her computer before speaking up again. "Okay we have him all ready for you, you can go in the back and get him" she told them. "Okay thank you" they said and walked to the back.
