After the medal ceremony, I skipped the closing ceremony and got on the first flight out. I have game in LA when the season continues so it works out.
Billie blocked me and every other number I tried to call her from. Which means I need a more direct approach. I need to go to her house.
I know she has a taller gate and security now but I know just how to get in. Her neighbors have a shorter fence and a tree that extends over her yard. If I climb that tree, I can get over the fence.
I pull my hood down and approach the fence. I grip the top of it and lunge myself over it. I hurry to the backyard and approach the tree. I climb up the tree and scoot my way across a branch.
I look down and take a deep breath. I close my eyes and let go.
I land in Billie's pool and groan loudly. I climb out of the pool and see a window cracked open. I approach the window and lift it up.
I climb through and shut it.
I walk around and see Billie standing in the kitchen. I creep up behind her and tap her shoulder.
She screams and quickly turns around. She hits me in the face and I groan.
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" Billie asks.
"I missed you." I say in pain.
"Why are you wet?! How did you get in?!" Billie asks.
"I fell from the sky like your guardian angel." I say putting my hands on her waist.
"You need to go!" Billie says pushing me away.
"I can't do that. I love you too much to just leave you." I say.
"Y/n-" She says.
"Is this because of that night at the club?" I ask.
"I just don't wanna be with you anymore. It's too much." She says.
"You think you can just leave me and get away with it?" I ask getting closer to her.
She pushes me away and I grab her wrist tightly.
"Y/n-" She says.
"No, you listen to me." I say.
"I have been nothing but good to you and this is how you repay me?" I ask.
"You're acting just like him." She says.
"Who?" I ask.
"The man at the club." She says.
I stare at her and she pushes me away. She runs away and I chase after her. I slip on the wet floor and I groan.
