My foot's footsteps quickened through the forest as I listened closely to the the steps of my feet running through the forest.

My steps were shallow and fast as I heard the branches and twigs crunching under my feet and then I heard another pair of footsteps.

My heart dropped and looked over to see the mysterious mage.

"You can't run away from your destiny forever." The man said wittily.

Destiny.

That word again.

Everyone seems to have this vision of what my destiny should be when I don't even know or understand myself.

My footsteps quickened and I dodged a large blast of dark magic pulsing towards me.

Adrenaline shot through my body as I nearly avoided his attack.

I didn't want to use my energy on such a measly dark mage. I learned with my powers it's best to conserve and only use them when it's vital.

It takes great patience and control but I have been teaching myself how to for as long as I can remember.

It's only been myself and only myself. The only person who I could rely on, the only person I could trust. Was me.

I leaped over a broken tree trunk and the pair of footsteps still followed closely behind me.

Not giving up huh

Slight annoyance and anger grew inside me as I was beginning to become exhausted from running.

Just then I heard another pair of footsteps following closely behind me.

A pair? How lucky of me.

I glanced behind me briefly and I saw them preparing to throw their next attack and I smirked.

I felt the energy of dark magic traveling fast behind me before I saw it and I jumped up and used my dark energy to blast myself up with more momentum.

I flipped upwards and landed swiftly on one of the tallest branches in one of the many trees and smiled devilishly at them.

"It's going take a lot more than that to get me boys," I said mockingly.

I looked down at the two mages who were in awe as both their mouths gaped open for a second before their expressions both shifted to anger.

"GET HER!" One of them screamed.

I dashed from branch to branch quickly outrunning them. The moonlight was my guide as I landed on each branch that was highlighted by the moon

I danced with the moonlight and then I felt two large energy masses coming at me from both directions and I rolled forward narrowly escaping the dark energies that crossed me.

I rolled forward which made me lose some height, but I swiftly grabbed a branch and swung myself back up into the tops of the trees.

I looked down to see one of the mages climbing a tree to reach my height while the other followed me on the forest floor.

I heard grunting and angry insults thrown my way as I felt the wind hitting my face

"Don't you guys have something better to do?" I mumbled to myself not caring if they heard.

That's enough. I'm becoming tired from running.

With one quick move, I boosted myself backward towards the one mage in the trees behind me. My feet were first and I saw his eyes widen in shock before my feet collided with his chest.

I heard an unhealthy wheeze escape from him and he tumbled down onto the forest floor rough and his body hit the ground with a hard thud. The dirt and dust blew away from the impact.

The other mage stared at me manically as he shot dark energy at the tree I was standing on and destroyed it completely.

I lost my footing for a second before I quickly grabbed the nearest branch and swung myself back to the top of the trees again.

"YOU CAN'T RUN FOREVER YOU EVIL LITTLE RUNT!" The man shouted.

I laughed to myself a little and kept on forward.

I snapped my fingers and a spark of red glowed in the night. I promptly heard the man scream as he fell and I laughed.

I was nearly there.

The man had fallen into a hole I created for annoying mages like himself who were always after me.

I located my bubble and quickly let myself in and I burst through the door as I caught my breath.

They won't find me here now.

After I caught my breath I touched my face which was hot and red and I opened the door to the outside and let the winds hit my face again.

I stared silently at the warped moonlight due to my protection spell I set around what I like to call my home. A mere spell that hid my home from the outside world and could be passed by easily without a thought.

I had practiced making the bubble strong without being noticed by other mages who could sense energy and magic. I was an invisible to the outside world.

I felt my adrenaline run down and I started to feel tired. I stared into the moonlight once more before I headed inside to rest.
