A/N: Hey, so quick note, I meant to say this before but please let me know what you think! I know so far it isn't much and I am gonna try to make this a slow-burn thing. I also want to, of course, let them have their moments and flirt and all. thank you for reading this far at all though! I hope you guys are enjoying it! I want to write as much as possible!

I sigh as I go back in and I look at Jo. "some friend you are..." I sigh and grab my stuff from behind the bar. "what does that mean?" She looks at me. I shake my head and look at Ellen. "how much for a room, tonight? I want to be here when the boys get back. Their last hunt had something to do with the demon" I sigh. "$50 for tonight. I'll take it out of your pay from how much you help out" Ellen smiles and gives me a key. "thanks" I sigh and go to the room and head to bed. I try my best to fall asleep but I can't help but think about what happened outside. I remember how much of a flirt Dean used to be but something felt different about this. It's worse because I fell for it after he was just flirting with Jo.

The next afternoon, I go on a lunch run and when I come back I see Sam and Dean. I give Ellen her food and sit down. "I got this stuff from Ash" She pursed her lips and looked at them both and I saw the way Dean was looking at her and I bit my lip. "Andrew Gallaghar's house burned down on his 6-month birthday, just like your house. You think it was the demon both times, don't you? You think it went after Gallagher's family?" She looks at them and I can tell that Dean still doesn't trust her. "Yeah we think so-" Sam looks down and Dean looks at him. "Sam' he stops Sam from talking. "why?" she asks still looking at Sam. "None of your business" Dean looks at her. I knew that was a wrong move on his part and I sighed as I gave Jo and Ash their breakfast before coming back. "-- This isn't just your war. This is war. now something big and bad is coming and it's coming fast, and their side holds all the cards. now, at best all we got is us-- Together. No secrets or half-truths here" I hear her say.

I sigh as I listen to Dean get the talking to that he deserves and see the way he shifts and looks at Sam. "there are people out there like Andy Gallagher.  Like me... and uhm we all have some kind of ability" I walk over and look at him "Ability?" I bite my lip, wondering how these guys who have known me this long didn't tell me a thing. "Yeah, a psychic ability," he tells us and looks at Ellen and I see as Dean sighs and shakes his head and then I understand. Dean thought it was bad for anyone to know about this."Me, I have um... I have visions. Premonitions. I don't know... it's different for everybody" He sighs and I watch the way Dean reacts. I sigh and shake my head. "The demon said he had plans for people like us" Sam continues. "what kind of plans?" Ellen asks as she leans in closer to him over the bar. "We don't really know for sure" Sam sighs.

"These people out there, these psychics, they dangerous?" I ask and Ellen nods as we both look at the both of them. "No. Not all of 'em" Dean sighs. "But some are. Some are very dangerous" Sam tells us. "okay well how many are we lookin' at?" I ask and look between the two. "We've been able to track a clear pattern so far. They've all had housefires on the night of the kid's 6-month birthday." Dean says and I nod. "That's not true" Sam stops him. "what?" Dean asks, taken aback. "Webber, or Ansem Weems or whatever his name is... I looked at his files and there was no house fire. There's nothing out of the ordinary" He sighed and Ellen knew what that meant and we looked at each other. "Which breaks pattern. So if there's any others like him there would be nothing in our system, no way to track 'em all down" She looks at them both and I nod as I realize what that implies and look at Dean. "and so who knows how many of them are really out there" Dean sighs and I look down. "Sadie, Break out the whiskey...." She sighs and I nod and. go over to the bottles behind the bar. "Yes, Ma'am". I tell her and grab a few glasses for them and pour before passing a glass to everyone.

I sigh as I go back to my room after I pay Ellen for another night and I go back up to my room. I look at myself in the mirror and frown as I take off my jacket and go lie down. I wish everything wasn't happening so quickly. I wish I didn't feel this way about some flirty jerk. "I'm such an idiot-" I groan as I stare at the ceiling not realizing Dean was at the door. "I don't think that's true" Dean chuckles and I look at him. "You and your brother need to learn how to knock" I roll my eyes as I look at him. "what do you want?" I sigh as I get up.

He closes the door as he walks further into the room. "I wanted to check on you. You seemed real worried about us and you know you don't have to be" Dean sighs. "Oh I know I don't and I think worrying about you two is what might kill me and my dad. Sadly, after spending the majority of my childhood with you boys I care now besides I wasn't here for you guys. I have some leads on some guys who are hunting the things that killed my birth family" I sigh as I walk over to him and he takes some steps closer to me. "ah I guess selfishly I wanted you to be keeping an eye on us. on me" he bites his lip and I smile a little as he brushes some hair out of my face and behind my ear.  "and why is that?" I stare at his green eyes. "wouldn't you like to know" he mumbled as he was close enough to me that I could feel his breath. "Dean!" I hear Sam and I back away from him. "Sammy needs you. Go." I tell him and sit down on my bed. "yeah, alright" he nods and leaves to go talk to Sam.

The next morning I wake up to Jo and Ellen fighting. "I am your mother, I don't have to be reasonable!" I hear Ellen and I go down stairs and see them. "You can't keep me here!" Jo says. "don't you bet on that, Sweetie" Ellen yells back. "what are you gonna do?" She asks and I see Sam and Dean come back in and the three of us give each other a look. "Are you gonna chain me up in the basement" Jo keeps going. "you know what, you've had worse ideas than that recently! You don't wanna stay ? Don't stay! go back to school!" Ellen argues as she turns to face her daughter. "I didn't belong there! I was a freak with a knife collection!" Jo yelled. "yeah but gettin' yourself killed on some dusty back road, That's where you belong?" Ellen looks at her confused. I watch this all, unsure of what to do.

then Ellen looks at the three of us and I realize we had gotten closer. "guys, bad time!" she says to us and I nod and Sam looks away. "yes Ma'am" he mumbled. "yeah we rarely drink before 10:00 anyway" Dean joked, clearly uncomfortable. I roll my eyes at him. "Wait! I want their opinion on this" Jo says and I see the tourists walk in and quickly help them leave. I hear the phone ring and Ellen answers it and I stand with Sam and Dean to hear what was going on. "Three weeks ago, a young girl disappears from a Philidelphia apartment" She says holding a file out and we all look at it. "take it, it won't bite" Jo sighs. Dean looks at her like she's crazy. "No but your mom might" he tells her and she gives him a look and he rolls his eyes and takes it. "and this girl wasn't the first, over the past 80 years 6 women have vanished all from the same building, all young blondes. only happens every decade or two, so cops never eyeball the pattern" She says and as she talks I look over the file with Dean. "So we're either dealing with one very old serial killer-" she's cut off by Dean.

"who put this together? Ash?" he asks as he keeps looking over it and then looks at her. "I did it myself" Jo smiles, proud of herself and Dean hums and I take the file. "I gotta admit, we've hit the road for a lot less" Sam smiles as he looks over the file in my hands. "good! you like the case so much, You take it" Ellen looks at them and i can see that this makes Jo upset. "Mom" she glared at her mother. "Joanna Beth, this family has lost enough, I won't lose you too" Ellen sighs and looks at the boy and I walk outside to take a smoke, not wanting to hear more arguing. I sigh as I light my cigarette and look out at everything around the roadhouse.

If i was honest with myself I knew I hated this life. I sadly also knew that as long as I cared about those idiots in there that I had no choice but to keep at it. Even when I didn't care I used hunting as my coping mechanism. It was like my drug. I had to find out what killed my family too. so there really was no way out for me. "again with the cigarettes, Sweetheart" I hear the familiar voice breaking me out of my thoughts. "again, your opinion doesn't matter unless you're my boyfriend or my parent" I shrug as I take another pull and Dean sighs and takes it from me and stomps it out in the dirt. "fuck off, flirt" I roll my eyes and watch them leave before going back inside and getting my stuff deciding to just go home
