Chapter 4: In The Basement

Jen and Gregg enter the warehouse basement to discover the weird groaning noises. Beneath the ruins was very twisted and it smelled so bad. Lots of wires and insulation and ceiling debris was scattered all over the place, fiberglass spread out on the floor.

"Ugh, I thought it looked bad upstairs..."

Gregg

"Yeah. Plus the smell."

Jen

"Well let's keep moving! We need to find out who's down here." *Jen balances on a table to avoid the fiberglass and debris* "Come on! Jump!"

Gregg jumps on the table. He wobbles a bit as he lands and starts balancing on the table.

Jen

*Holds Gregg still* Nice! Let's keep going! *Jen guides Gregg to the end of the table* "uh... What do we do here? The table ends here!"

Gregg

*Looks around to see if there's anything to help them pass through the rest of the mess on the ground. He looks up and sees loosen wall tiles* "Jen, I think I got a bad idea!"

Jen

"Um... I'd rather hear good ideas..."
-----------------------------------------------------

Gregg
---------

"Yeah, good idea, Right! Just give me a boost!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jen with a bit of hesitation, picks up Gregg with surprising strength. Watching Gregg pulls off some tiles as he sits on her shoulders.

Jen

"NRRG! You almost done Gregg?!"

Gregg
---------

*Gregg has pulled out 3 tiles* "Yep! You can put me down now!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jen lowers Gregg down and sits down to catch her breath.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Gregg
---------

"Thanks! *Gregg tosses the three tiles into the debris to act as platforms.* "Score! Look, Jen. I did it! Let's go!" *Gregg jumps and successfully jumps on the first and then the second tile*

Jen

*Feels better* "Okay." *Jen jumps on the first tile* Woah! Why did they have to be small?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Gregg jumps on the last tile and jumps again. He passed the debris. Then motions Jen to come over.

Jen jumps to the second tile and wobbles. After gaining her balance she jumps and lands on the last tile. She then jumps even higher and lands on the clean floor.

"That was very smart, Gregg. We're getting closer! Let's move."
