Into the mindset (Various Genshin x fem reader)

Chapter 2

You waved Albedo goodbye, as he made a turn into his classroom. You two had been talking to each other in the halls, because you decided to help Albedo with finding his classes, and he walked up to you after the bell. You and him sadly didn't end up having next period together, as he had history and you had geometry, but you still walked him to his class down the hall. Back to the present. You bid him goodbye, and walked further down the hall to your geometry class, only to find quite a well known head of hair. A boy with white hair in a low ponytail and a red streak in front had a questioning look on his face as he looked from his schedule to the plaque. Mr Canada himself. Well not really but seriously, this was creepy. Why are all of these people who look like Genshin characters suddenly in your school?

You sighed, looking over his shoulder to see his schedule. he turned his eyes in your direction, more questioning towards you. Now you had to speak up. "This seems to be your class, any problems?" After stating this, he seemed quite a bit more friendly than before. "Thank you..." he turns to face you, questioning your name. "Y/n." He seems pleased. "Well then, thank you y/n. I'm Kazuha." ... what. Seriously what are the chances of this happening twice? Two people who look just like Genshin characters AND have the same name as them. Plus, I don't think they are faking their names. The teachers aren't batting an eye, and sure, Albedo is relatively common, but Kazuha?! He gives you a smile then walks into the room. 

You trail him, sitting in your seat, next to f/n (friend). The teacher welcomes Kazuha, and tells him to sit wherever he wants, like the rest of the class. He seems to notice the empty seat next to me, and so he walks over, each step light as air. "Is this seat taken?" He speaks. F/n seems shocked. She doesn't play Genshin impact, but I could see why she would be surprised with Kazuha coming over anyways. Hell, even I'm surprised. We barely talked. 

F/n is still in a state of shock, so up to me again. I shake my head and make sure none of my stuff is on the other desk. He seems to notice f/n, and looks at me questioning their state. I merely shrug "idk." With that he sits. The teacher talks about how we were going to do a test, but with Kazuha- yadayada. to be frank I don't listen to her. All i know is we are doing review and that I don't care. Kazuha seems to be intent on listening to her, and f/n is intent on looking at Kazuha. Kazuha definitely notices, but doesn't want to cause a stir it seems, as he ignores her. 

About halfway into the review and Kazuha is lost. You can tell by the look on his face, because it was one your friends make all the time. He looked confused on just about everything, but you narrowed it down to a few major problems. He looked at you curiously while you were looking at his notebook, even slightly tilting his head. You look at him and said, "need some help?"He looked at his notebook again, looked back and nodded. 

You start to explain how to figure out the process and he seems to be digesting the info quite well. I mean, better than before at least, as he writes down notes, paraphrasing what you were saying. He occasionally would ask questions about certain topics. It went explain, write, explain, then question, or at least something similar. He had a sort of content look on his face, but in all honesty you were mediocre when it came to reading people.

By the time the teacher had finished the review, about half the class time was done, but it had felt like an eternity. " Since I am being so generous, you can use the rest of the time to study." Basically all of the class was jumping for joy at that one. Honestly you couldn't blame them, you definitely felt that way too. You couldn't help but look back at Kazuha. He had a look of indifference on his face, but nothing truly more than that. You looked back at your notebook to review. Honestly more studying couldn't hurt, you were sure. 

After a few seconds, you felt eyes on you. It was preeety creepy. Turning your head towards f/n, you can tell they are still studying, so mooost likely not them. You look towards Kazuha to see him looking at you with calculating eyes. It was sort of nerve wracking. After about a second, he turns back to his notebook. Huh. That's weird. Something felt slightly off, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

You all continue to study, until nearing the end of the class. The teacher announces the bell will soon ring and for everyone to pack up. You start to shove everything in your backpack in quite a random order, uncaring where everything goes. You're just happy to get the fuck outta there. Suddenly Kazuha stands and looks at you, seeming like he was having slight regrets causing this much of a scene, trying to cool down. You look at him curiously.

Kazuha is not quite sure why he decided to ask you this. What is he doing? I mean sure, you were nice enough to him the first time, but probably out of courtesy. Nothing would come out of his mouth. It was weird, as Beidou and everyone else on the Crux always talked about his 'fancy' way of speaking. Poetry was important to him, so likewise, he was good with words. But for some odd reason he couldn't ask this girl to go to Art with him. He had gotten a glimpse of her schedule, one she had put in her planner she seeemed to write in, and it had her schedule.

To be honest, this environment was quite complicated to him, in a way that was hard to put into words. A washed feeling of nerves and energy, maybe. A few days ago, they were docked at Liyue harbor, restocking and replenishing the state of the Crux. He had decided to go take a walk on the harbor, to "get some air" as Beidou worded it. Alone at the shore, he had heard a voice ask him if he wanted knowledge and new experiences. Obviously he was alert, as he was sure no one was there, unsheathing his sword. The voice had revealed itself as a celestial being, offering to take him to another world. Well threatening was probably a little more realistic.

This voice had warned him about not taking this deal. The voice told him that others would pay. The Crux would. He wasn't about to put them in danger, so he had decided to take the deal to insure their safety, and as a token to show they weren't hurt, the being had given him a 'phone'. well at least a very modern one. This device would be able to contact Beidou from across the worlds. He was skeptical, but the voice had pushed him to do it, showing him something of a possible future. And well, he was here. 

So far the voice had been correct. He gained various new experiences and new knowledge he wasn't sure how to use. He had been in contact with Beidou too, arriving to this new world 3 days before now. The celestial had apparently paid for his housing, and would pay for his living as well. A very odd experience, that was to be certain. There were others, taken from Teyvat to see this world. At least he knew of 4. He hadn't seen them though, but they should be recognizable, if not for personality's then surely their presence would be different.

 Back to this girl. This girl was frank about what she wanted to say, if a bit mysterious, but he had his own similar moments he supposed. He took a breath. " I noticed you had art next, yes? I do aswell, if you could show me there?" And out. He said it. It wasn't that bad, now that he thinks about it. With a smile on the girls face, y/n, she responded. " I would love to!" Ah, what a relief. That momentary anxiety truly was for nothing. He smiled to himself and sat down, neatly putting his books in the bag that was apparently normal for this world's type of schooling. Many many books. Not too much of a problem for him, he imagined.

Lmaoooo I can just imagine Kazuha searching up random things like how to use a blender or whatever. Also, for them seeing Genshin, I'll unravel that can of worms later, probably when we meet the full cast :ppp thanks for reading!!
