I'm out in the balcony as I had a hard time falling asleep, for whatever reason it is. Naninibago siguro ang katawan ko sa lahat. I'm used to sleeping on spaces void of light but the stars and moon, you see. Here, it's bright everywhere. Although I can always opt to turn the lights in the room off, the light outside is still visible through the cream curtains.
Or...maybe it's just really me.

I hugged the shawl on my shoulders when I felt the cold. I usually enjoy the night breeze since it's summer, only if not for this damned night dress. I looked exactly as I imagined when I turned to the mirror a while ago. I frowned when I remembered the sight.

I should wake up early tomorrow and clean myself before the maidservants arrive. Or maybe I should just shut them up before they ask about my scars. Malalim akong napabuntong-hininga.

Have I always been such an over thinker?

I leaned on the railing and buried my forehead on my arms.

"How did I even came to this situation?"
I ask myself loudly.
But I guess, none of it even matters now. I still have to be here, if I want to execute my plan. But I miss my house. Tsk.

"I'm an idiot, why am I missing that--."

"You missed me? Is that why you don't look like yourself, right now?"
I almost screamed in surprise when a face flashed in front of my eyes.

Why is he hanging on the railings? I don't care if he's tall, I just want to pluck out all his hair right now.

"What are you now, a monkey? And you dare surprise me like that!?"
I was panting in annoyance when I remembered I'm in someone else's house kaya kinalma ko ang aking sarili.

He just stood there silently chuckling while leaning down dahil hawak ko pa rin ang buhok nito. I gasp in disbelief. You're done, you monkey.

"Ell! Mapupunit na yang anit ko! I just want to check if you're okay here, got it? A-ray! If you don't stop I'll pull your hair---"
I immediately let go of him and stopped his blabbing mouth using my hand dahil sa kaluskos mula sa katabing silid. Damn. I forgot there are royalties in there. They might sense I'm sneaking someone in here.

The balconies of each rooms are separate, so I think it's safe to hide in the corner.

The rustling stopped that made both of us sigh in relief. Phew. I don't want them to know about Cole yet, and, they might get the wrong idea.

I realized I was holding Cole in his collar kaya agad ko itong binitawan. He's arms are around me kaya ay pinanlakihan ko ito ng mata bago sinubukang humiwalay dito.
He only looked at me clueless kaya mahinang tinampal ko ito sa mukha.

He gave me a smirk before leaning in, squeezing me in a tight hug. Now why is everyone so fond of this killing gesture? Is this a new way to murder someone? It's not like he missed me, he saw me just few hours ago for Pete's sake!

"Y-ya spare me -*gasp*- with this bull-shiti!"
He wants to kill me for sure.

When his hold relaxed, I didn't waste a minute and gave him a blow on the stomach. Good grief, I need oxygen, hah!

I looked at him who's crouching on the side holding his abdomen. I picked his ear and dragged him inside the room without closing the balcony door.

"Stay hidden if you don't wanna die."
