Five minutes before, encountering No. 9. We see Arthur, Kafka and Kikoru on the top of a building, as Kikoru began to question them
Kikoru: Wha?! You're going to look for Reno and Iharu?! We've lost communication with them and we can't track their vitals, so how can you two.....
Arthur: If it's the same Kaiju you've encountered, then we should be able to track it down.
Kafka: Hey, Kikoru
Kikoru went eyes widen in shocked to see both Arthur and Kafka transformed into their Kaiju forms, and right infront of her.
Kafka: Were leaving the rest to you
With that, Arthur and Kafka then leapt into the air leaving Kikoru behind.
Kikoru: hey, Wait!
(Now back to the present)
Kikoru along with the rest of the officer were taking out more Fungi Yoju, as she thought to herself
Kikoru: *Thoughts* Those dopes! Transforming into a place like this?!
Suddenly a soldier began to report, which Kikoru hears
Soldier: this is Ikagura platooon squad delta. We've encountered a humanoid kaiju! And from it's features.... It's Kaiju no.8!!
Kikoru's eyes widen in disbelief, and was cut short when the Vice-captain spoke up
Hoshina: Roger. I'll dispatch a neutralization squad.
Kikoru: *Thoughts* Those idiots!
Back with Kafka, We see the soldiers point their guns at him, as Kafka was trying to process what he was going to do next, but while he was distracted.
No. 9: Ahh... so the camouflage space wore off? Though, thanks to that
No. 9, then took the opportunity to recover and manage to gain some distance from Kafka.
No. 9: It gave me an opening
Kafka: *thoughts* shit!
No. 9: Now i know your profile. The next time we meet, I'll kill you.
Kafka: Like i let you escape!
No. 9 then point it's finger towards the officers and began to fire projectiles at them, Luckily Arthur appeared and shielded them, making the Officers shocked and confused
Officer: *Thoughts* another humanoid?!
No. 9: y'know, despite both of you being kaiju's, you sure act like humans. Let's meet again, Kaiju no.8 and you too, Monster Zero
No. 9's body then disappears into the winds. leaving only Arthur and Kafka with the Officers. Arthur then signals Kafka to leave, which he nods, he then slams his fists into the ground creating a smoke screen, blocking the officers view.
Up high, we see Arthur and Kafka has leapt away, without the officers spotting them
Arthur: Damn, that was too close
Kafka: yeah, but we might have to let that humanoid go, for now
Arthur: It's fine, besides *Looks back to see Reno and Iharu getting rescue* We did, what we came here to do. Now let's find a good place to change back
Kafka: Okay
Not long after, Both Kafka and Arthur landed down in an alley way, which was away from the other officers and from Drones, Or so they thought......
