I wake up to chatter and stomping outside my bedroom door. I rub my eyes, quickly hopping out of bed to quickly open the shades before running back to my bed and cuddling back into it. The light shines into my room, casting a beam of sunshine to fall across the floor where my trunk lays. I lay in bed for about ten more minutes before rolling out of it. First things first, I put on my socks so my feet don't get cold. Then, I slowly but surely get dressed. It's not too bad to go from a comfy pajama shirt into a comfy sweater. After I'm dressed, I dig back through my trunk for one of my tote bags, where I stuff the robes I'm supposed to change into later. Supposedly. I put my silk bag in there as well. Then, I put everything else in my trunk. Like my pillow, blanket, and plushies. I glance at my outfit in the full length mirror after slipping on my shoes. It's perfect. I leave my room where I immediately run into someone.
"Rose?"
"Oh hey Fred."
"Fred? No I'm George, silly," he says with a smile.
"No you're not. You two talk totally different. You're also a wee bit taller than George. And, your smiles aren't as identical as you two may think." His smile fades a little more each time as I add to my list of their differences. "Anyway," I say with a yawn. "Is everyone ready?"
"Almost," he finally says after a long pause. "Do you need help bringing your trunk down?" I nod.
"Yes, that would be great. I still need to put Coco in her carrier. I'm not sure she really enjoys being in there but there's not really any other way to transport her. Is breakfast still being served?"
"Yep. Should be right until we leave. Ron and Harry aren't down yet. I'm honestly not even sure if they're awake... oh well. If they miss the train again that's totally on them."
"Again??"
"Don't worry about it." We go back to my room and he grab my trunk, while I try to get Coco inside her carrier, which doesn't prove to be as difficult as I thought it would be. I swing my tote bag over my right shoulder, pick up Coco in her carrier with my right hand, and then take my wand from off the desk with my left hand. Fred is already out the door and gone, but I give one last final look to the room before nudging the door closed behind me with my foot. Once we're downstairs, Fred dumps my trunk with everyone else's' trunks, and I set Coco's carrier next to Crookshanks before heading to the table where I sit next to George.
"Oh, 'morning Rose."
"Hey George," I respond, still half asleep.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yep! It was a good sleep," I confirm. We talked a bit more while waiting for the others to be fully ready. I also ate an english muffin with butter. After what felt like moments later, I was briefly introduced to Mr Weasley, who seems like a very kind man, just like the rest of his family. Soon, all of us kids are hustled into cars that feel way bigger on the inside than the do on the outside. That being said, I still feel extremely smooshed right now. On my left sits Charlie, whereas on my right is George. Fred sits on the other side of George. Four of us in one cramped back seat. A man from the ministry is driving and Molly is in the passenger seat. From what I heard, Percy, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and Harry are all crammed in the other car with Arthur in that passenger seat. I have no idea how they're managing all that... I have Coco's carrier on my lap which just makes things way more crowded than they need to be... but oh well. "So," I say. "It's a train right?"
"Yep," George says from beside me. "It's really cool, I'm sure you'll love it."
"You know that I've been on trains before right...? At Kings Cross?"
"Yes, but nothing is as cool as The Hogwarts Express," Fred continues. I notice that they always continue each others sentences. It's very fascinating.
