In the morning,
Sunghoon stirred, feeling the gentle weight of Heeseung's arm draped across his waist.

For a moment, he kept his eyes closed, savoring the peaceful quiet that surrounded them.

His body felt pleasantly sore, a reminder of the night before.

A night that had been everything he’d hoped for, and more.

Slowly, Sunghoon opened his eyes and turned his head slightly to look at Heeseung.

Heeseung was still asleep, his face relaxed, the usual sharpness of his features softened in slumber.

His chest rose and fell steadily, the rhythm comforting in its simplicity. Sunghoon couldn’t help but smile.

Last night had been unforgettable.

He carefully shifted, turning fully onto his side to face Heeseung, trying not to wake him.

The warmth of their shared space felt intimate, like they were cocooned in their own world, untouched by the outside.

Heeseung’s skin was warm beneath Sunghoon’s fingertips as he traced light patterns along his arm, the memory of their closeness making Sunghoon’s heart race once more.

Heeseung stirred slightly, his brow furrowing before his eyes fluttered open.

He blinked a few times, his gaze hazy with sleep before it focused on Sunghoon.
A slow smile spread across his face as he tightened his arm around Sunghoon, pulling him closer.

"Morning."
Heeseung's voice was rough, laced with the remnants of sleep.

"Morning."
Sunghoon replied, his voice soft, as if speaking too loudly would shatter the fragile quiet between them.

For a while, neither of them moved, content to just be.

There was no rush, no urgency, only the comforting presence of one another.

Sunghoon felt a deep sense of satisfaction in that moment, a certainty that this was exactly where he was supposed to be.

"Last night..."
Heeseung began, his words trailing off as he searched for the right thing to say.

Sunghoon laughed softly, burying his face in Heeseung's chest.
"Yeah... it was something, wasn’t it?"

Heeseung let out a low chuckle, his fingers lazily running through Sunghoon’s hair.
"Better than I expected."

"Better?"
Sunghoon lifted his head, raising an eyebrow in mock offense.
"What were you expecting?"

Heeseung grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"I’m not sure, but you definitely exceeded whatever it was."

Sunghoon rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t hide the pleased smile tugging at his lips.
"Well, I aim to impress."

"You did."
Heeseung said softly, his tone sincere now.

"We should probably get up." Heeseung murmured, though his body protested the idea of leaving the warmth of the bed.

Sunghoon groaned softly in protest, his grip on Heeseung tightening.
"Five more minutes."

Heeseung laughed, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to Sunghoon's forehead.
"Fine. But only five."

Sunghoon hummed in contentment, closing his eyes again as Heeseung settled back beside him.

And as the minutes ticked by, Sunghoon realized that five minutes wasn’t nearly enough.

The peaceful silence was abruptly broken by a firm knock on the door, followed by Sunghoon’s mother’s voice, warm and cheerful.
