The next morning, Heeseung pulled up to work in his new car, the sunlight glinting off the sleek paint as he parked in front of the building.
As he stepped out, he spotted Hyunjin already waiting outside, leaning casually against the fence with his arms crossed, a playful grin on his face.
When Hyunjin saw the car, his eyes widened, and he let out a low whistle. "Damn, Heeseung. This car makes you look even hotter."
Heeseung laughed, shaking his head as he closed the car door.
"Yeah, yeah."
He said with a smirk, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"Let’s get to work. I’ve got a busy day ahead."Hyunjin gave him a sly look.
"You think driving around in that thing will make us work faster?"Heeseung chuckled and playfully nudged him as they started walking toward the entrance.
"Maybe. But hey, later, I want to go check out that place I’ve been talking about. The one I want to buy."Hyunjin’s expression brightened.
"Oh, really? You’re actually thinking of buying it?""Yeah.."
Heeseung nodded, his smile fading into something more serious.
"I’ve been saving up for a while now. If it works out, it’ll be the start of something new."Hyunjin grinned, clapping him on the back.
"That’s awesome, man. I hope it works out. I’m sure Sunghoon would love it."Heeseung’s smile softened at the mention of Sunghoon, a bittersweet feeling tugging at his chest, but he quickly shook it off.
"Yeah, I hope so too."With that, they headed inside, ready to tackle the day's work, but Heeseung couldn’t help but feel a flicker of hope.
Maybe, this new step would bring him one step closer to what he truly wanted.
As soon as Heeseung got home from work, he wasted no time.
He picked up his phone, dialing the number for the real estate agent and confirming his visit to see the house.
This place could be the fresh start he had been dreaming of, a place where he could see a future with Sunghoon.
After freshening up, Heeseung grabbed his keys and headed out to the address the agent had given him.
The drive wasn’t long, and as he got closer, he couldn’t help but imagine what it would be like.
Having a home where he and Sunghoon could finally be together.
When he arrived, the house stood tall on a quiet street, nestled in a charming part of town.
It was spacious, much bigger than he initially thought.
The front yard was lined with lush trees, and the large windows framed beautiful views of the surrounding area.
As Heeseung stepped out of the car, he took a deep breath, feeling the cool breeze and the warmth of possibility.
The agent greeted him with a smile, and they began the tour.
The house had a modern but cozy feel.
Large open spaces, lots of natural light, and a stunning kitchen that overlooked a small garden in the back.Heeseung could already imagine Sunghoon sitting by the window.
The views were incredible, especially from the upstairs balcony, where Heeseung stood for a moment, taking in the sight of the town below.
It was perfect.
A place where he could see them spending quiet evenings, watching the sunset, or sneaking out for late night dates to the nearby cafes and restaurants.
