The first rays of dawn streamed through the thin curtains, casting a soft glow over the apartment. Aera stirred in her sleep, her brow furrowing as fragments of her dreams tugged at the edges of her consciousness. Memories of the previous night surged forward-Jungkook's revelations, the weight of the truth about their families, and the silent understanding she now shared with Taehyung. It all seemed distant yet raw.

Taehyung was the first to wake. His eyes flickered open, and the sight of Aera resting beside him filled his chest with an unfamiliar ache. He watched her sleep, her face peaceful despite the storm she'd been through. The more he looked at her, the more certain he became of one truth: he was falling for her, deeper than he'd ever expected. He sat up quietly, careful not to disturb her. As he leaned against the headboard, his thoughts raced. Jungkook had gone with the police, determined to expose his father's crimes, but there was still a nagging sense of unfinished business. Taehyung couldn't shake the feeling that something was brewing in the shadows-something dangerous.Aera stirred beside him, her eyes slowly fluttering open. She blinked against the light and saw Taehyung looking at her. "Morning," she whispered, her voice still thick with sleep."Morning," Taehyung replied softly. "How are you feeling?"Aera sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Numb, I guess. After everything... I'm not sure what to feel anymore."

Taehyung nodded, understanding. "It's a lot to take in."She turned to face him, her gaze steady. "I've been thinking about what Jungkook said. I can't believe he kept all of this from me. But I also can't blame him... he was trying to protect me, wasn't he?"Taehyung hesitated. "He was. But sometimes, keeping secrets does more harm than good. You deserved to know the truth, Aera."Aera sighed, her mind heavy with conflicting emotions. "I know. But where do we go from here? Everything feels... uncertain."

Before Taehyung could respond, his phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen-an unknown number. Frowning, he answered."Taehyung?" It was Jungkook's voice, strained and urgent."Jungkook? What's going on?" Taehyung's heart raced."There's something wrong. I thought going with the police would be the end of this, but... they've found something. My father... he's not done yet. There's more to this than we realized."Aera, who had been listening intently, tensed. "What do you mean, Jungkook?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper."I... I don't have time to explain everything now. Just... be careful. I think my father has more people in his pocket than we thought."Before Taehyung or Aera could respond, the call disconnected.

Aera's heart pounded in her chest. "What does he mean? Do you think we're in danger?"Taehyung's jaw tightened. "We need to get out of here. If Jungkook's father is still pulling strings, we can't stay in one place."Aera nodded, her mind racing. "But where do we go?"Taehyung stood, his expression resolute. "I know a place. We'll be safe there for now."---

Taehyung and Aera found refuge in a small, secluded house on the outskirts of the city-a place Taehyung had arranged for emergencies. It was quiet, almost eerily so, as they tried to settle in. Both of them knew that danger was lurking closer than ever.As they unpacked, Aera turned to Taehyung, a question lingering in her mind. "Do you think Jungkook will be okay?"Taehyung paused, then gave her a reassuring smile. "He's tough. He'll be fine."But deep down, Taehyung couldn't shake the growing sense of dread. Jungkook was walking a fine line between justice and danger, and he wasn't sure how long he could hold on.---
