The day was finally ending, and it was time to head home.
She was walking home, lost in her thoughts while looking at the cloudy sky, and she didn’t notice the figure approaching her until he was right in front of her. It was Lilith's boyfriend, a charming and handsome young man who had always been friendly towards her.
“Hey, beauty. I've been needing to talk to you for a couple of days”, he said with a sly smile. She was about to respond when he continued talking. “I have always thought you were beautiful. How about we have a little fun together? Your friend doesn’t have to know”.
Eva's heart skipped a beat at his words. She had a secret crush on him for years, but she knew that betraying her friend in such a way would be unforgivable.
“I'm sorry, but I can't accept it while Lilith is in between”. Without giving him time to even answer, she walked past him quickly.
As she continued on her way home, a small voice in the back of her mind whispered of the pleasure and excitement that could have been hers if she had said yes. But she pushed those thoughts aside.
