It hurt. I'm not going to lie. It hurt. No one likes having a needle pierce their skin at all. At least, I don't. I have no idea how people with tattoos do it! "Now." Malden started to say. "Feeling any..... different?" My sisters and I looked at each other. "Who are you?" West asked blankly. "Where am I?" South asked with the same blank expression as the rest of us. "Why are we all chained up?" North asked with a little hint of fear in her question. I had to say something. "Do we know each other?" I asked looking at the other three. They all shrugged. "Oh I can answer all of that." Malden said with an evil expression on his face. "My name is Malden. I am your dad. Your mother is pure evil and so is her pet dragon." Poor West! It looked like she tried so hard to keep a blank face and her hands not balled into fists. I could feel her anger rising up. Malden kept talking. "I rule the world, but everyone is afraid of me. Maybe, they won't be so scared of you four. I have given you extraordinary talents, in which I have drained for your protection. Now I see you know nothing apart from what I have already told you. I feel that it's safe to give you your powers back. Follow me girls." He unstrapped us and we all hurried after him. He led us to a room with four seats. We each sat down in them. I had to admit they were quite comfortable. Malden came to me and stood me up so I could watch. He pushed the lever from Drain to Gain. I saw how their iris' all turned the colors of their powers. West's turned red. South's turned green. North's turned blue. They all stood up. Their blank faces turned to surprise and excitement and maybe even a little bit of fear. I went along with it. "Test your powers out. You'll be soon surprised at how powerful all of you really are." West spun in a circle with her palms pointing to the ground and a large circle of fire rose up as if it was a growing wall. North did the same, only waves circled around her, moving clockwise. South and I did what North and West did. A large twister spun up from the ground and rose up, carrying me at the top. It spun in place as I held on tight. Grass and flowers began to grow in a large circle and trees and rocks formed all around her. She had her own little forest. "Wonderful!" Malden said clasping his hands together. "Now follow me again. It's time I show you the training room."
