My POV
Breakfast was delicious. There was so much stuff to eat. I ate everything. I was so full, I almost exploded. I decided to walk around the house. I found a secret door that led to freedom. End of Chapter. Nah just kidding, but I did find a secret door. It was in Malden's basement. The prophecies from our rock home were on the wall. I re-read each one. Although there was one prophecy that caught my eye. It wasn't one we had read before. It was.... Malden's prophecy. I couldn't help but read it.
Malden Peter White. Husband of Sierra White and father to the four heroes West, South, North and East. To kill Sierra and family. Ruler of the planet Earth. Destined to spend the rest of his days destroying the world and ruling it all at once.
"What?!" I whisper screamed. "No.... Flipping...way!!" I had always thought that we were going to kill him. The prophecy.... written by Malden himself mind you, stated that he was going to be destroyed. Well that's at least what I wanted. Wait a minute....... I thought to myself, while walking back to my room. If we all wanted to be victors, and Malden wanted to be the dictator...... Oh no Sierra! I started to run to my room, but then thinking about how I might get caught, I began to slow down my pace. I made it to my room and plopped on my bed. Why would Sierra want to die?! How did Malden get inside of our minds?! Maybe he's lying... Maybe he didn't write the prophecy. Well if Malden didn't.... who the heck did?! I went over to West's door and knocked on it. "Who is it?" She asked. "Well it's not Malden." I answered. West opened the door. "Hello." She said with a slight grin. "Can I come in?" I asked. West nodded and gestured to the inside of her room. I walked in and just as she closed the door, I began to explain everything. "I don't think Malden wrote the prophecies." West gave me a puzzled look. "What do you mean? If he didn't then who did!" I shrugged. "I still haven't figured that part out yet. Listen, the prophecies are written the way we want. Malden's prophecy states that we die and he rules the world. Our prophecies state that he dies and we rule. Isn't that what we wanted? To defeat him and protect the world from danger?" West was silent for a moment, then spoke. "I guess so. All I wanted was a happily ever after, but I guess that worked too. What about Sierra's prophecy? She would never want to die..... She looked so happy to be alive.... Didn't she?" Tears began to form in my eyes. "I'll go tell South everything, you go tell North. We have to get out of here. Tonight." I said, my voice shaky. "What about Malden?" West asked. "We've have enough training. If we at least work together, we can achieve anything. Love is more powerful than anything." I said. West gave me a really? face. "Yeeeeeah okay well in this case Malden is stronger then love. Lets forget the last part of this conversation and go tell the others."
