Who Are You?

Chapter 2: Welcome!!!!

Pov. Dipper

After going down the steps of the vehicle and putting our feet on the ground, we were grabbed by big chubby arms, leaving us breathless for a moment, then they immediately let us go and get some air.

The figure of the man who almost suffocated us begins to speak:

"We guys missed you so much, how was the return trip?" asks Soos, a chubby big man with a big and kind heart, our dear friend, who is now in charge of the Mystery Shack, since my Grunkles are on their journey, discovering the world.

"All right Soos, and you? How's your work?" I asked curiously and also to continue the conversation. Meanwhile I catch a glimpse of Mabel moving away a bit, I didn't understand why, until I heard some very high-pitched screams coming from two girls, just imagining that they are my sister's friends, Candy and Grenda, so then I go back to my conversation with the now owner of the Mystery Shack.

"Everything is going well brother." he tells me with a smile. We continue talking and start walking towards the cabin. During the walk I ask my friend if my Grunkles will be able to come this year, but unfortunately he told me that he doesn't know yet if they will succeed. Then Wendy, since she went to college, should be able to come here to Gravity Falls. For now we are Soos, Candy, Grenda, me, Mabel and of course her girlfriend, Pacifica.

It still seems like yesterday when my sister came to me in the room while asking me for advice to make her secret crush confess her love. I had asked her to tell me her name to help her as best she could, but she insisted on not telling me, and it seemed strange to me that she would ask me for such advice since she always did her own thing, so I imagined it was serious, and guess what I guessed right, now they have been together for less than a year, but you can see that they love each other. She always told me about her at home about their little date, which they had 2 days before our departure; of having kissed, cuddled, hugged, to show mutual affection and then they exchanged phone numbers and continued their long-distance relationship.

When we arrived at the cabin, Mabel and I put our bags away and rested for a moment and chatted.

Then suddenly Mabel's phone rings, after making a sign with her hand to tell me to get out for a moment, I accepted and went outside to give her some privacy and I went down the stairs and wanting to do something I ask Soos:

"Hey Soos, do you need a hand?" I ask him slightly and he looks at my face and says:

"If it's not a displeasure for you, that's fine. Could you take these boxes to the warehouse and arrange the shelves there, near the entrance? I would be grateful." he says and with a nod of my head I accept the assignment and start by carrying the boxes, and then filling the shelves with objects to attract the most naïve people.

In the evening Soos arrives quickly, he leaves us the keys to the Mystery Shack since it was closing time. I start cooking dinner for both of us and start eating our food between laughter and talking, then after dinner we do a short TV marathon. Then because of tiredness we go to our bedroom and we go to wash and put on pajamas.

Mabel, together with her friend the piglet, start sleeping, while I continue to read a book that I had already started reading a few weeks ago called "Creatures and mysteries of the world of ******* *******" the right book for me.

After finishing my exciting reading, I start yawning and in doing so I put the book on my bedside table and turn off the lamp light and start entering the magical world of dreams.
