The Answer

Where am I? "Oh, this is a bar." A guy walked up to me, "Ethan?" He shook his head no, "my name is Dak Romo. Anyways, have a seat with us." I sat down and oh how I am so confused right now. I whispered to myself, "I'm still high." After a couple of minutes of sitting there, Daky Romo over here ordered 3 drinks for the girls at the bar. They look so familiar; I just can't place it. They started walking over, "Emersyn, why? How?" The princess questioned me, then something clicked, "Lizzie, Josie, and Hope. Why are we here?" Hope stopped Lizzie before she could talk, "we're looking for the girl's dad." Ethan finished his drink and chimed in, "Princess, I was hoping we'd finally meet on this mission." Lizzie started gawking over him, "So you got my hypertexts?" Hope cut them off before they could finish that really awkward conversation. "Sorry to break up whatever the hell this is. Can you tell us where General Saltztar is?" Ethan responded, "beats me, I've searched every inch of this backwater planet. The only person I consider to be almost him is Ric Saltzman." I stopped drinking my drink, "you're telling me you couldn't figure out that 'General Alaric Saltztar' is possibly Ric Saltzman?" He was baffled, "well Emersyn, he lives out on the rim." He pulled a business card from his alien friend, and we left.

The three girls headed to go find the twin's dad, but I made a little mission for myself. I am a completed tribrid after all. I found an old ship, I got in and started turning it on, "how do I know how to fly this thing?" I questioned myself a little with that but headed up to Salvatore star. I needed to find Lord Marshall. Marshall sounds too familiar.

I made it in the castle, there were ninjas everywhere. Why are there ninjas. I guess it's a good thing I didn't go to school with Lizzie back then, these ninjas are completely ignoring me. Lord Marshall found me, I let it chase me all over the castle. Hope came out of nowhere, "Emersyn get away!" I didn't listen to her, "I'm not going down without a fight. Hope, I got this." She yelled my name and threw something my way. "Come on now, fight me!" Lord Marshall and I were going at it, he had me pinned on the stairs. "Hope, catch!" I let go of the sword and threw it to Hope. He started attacking Hope. I knew she needed more help, "Hope move," I vamp sped over to them, "grab my hand and start chanting. Then take that sword and kill him!"

We did it. Lizzie, Josie, and a literal child ran in. Lizzie stopped in her tracks, "sorry were late." Hope and I got up. The little girl ran to take off Lord Marshall's mask, "you killed the Hollow," she paused, "wait who is that." I looked over to Hope, "Hope, why is it Malavoire?" She threw the sword down, "because it's the thing I'm most afraid of now. And now I know how to kill him." She started walking away then turned around, "Emersyn we have to become the Tribrids."

We finally woke up, "can we agree to never talk about this?" Everyone nodded in agreement. We headed back to the school. Once we arrived, the twins walked inside, and Hope stopped and turned to me, "Emersyn, whatever you are hiding, you know you can tell me." I gulped, "it's that noticeable that I'm hiding something?" She told me to walk with her, "Em, you stopped seeing Sam, that night you said you were tired after me and Landon broke up, you'd normally would just stay by my side until I am ready to talk about things. Then whenever we decided to go find the twin's dad, you wondered off to go fight Malivore by yourself." She stopped walking, "Emersyn what is it?" I turned away from her, "can we find Dr. S. I..." I began stumbling my words, "Emersyn are you about to have another-" I cut her off, "no. Look I just need you to come with me to find him."

We reached Dr. Saltzman's office. "Hey girls, what's up?" I shot him a look, "Emersyn we talked about this. You can't..." I cut him off, "I know. That's why I wanted to tell you both I'm leaving for a while." They both looked at me in shocked. Hope paced around the room, "Emersyn we need you. We have monsters to fight. We have to find a way to get Landon back. We need you to stay here." She stopped, "wait. What do you two know that you aren't telling me?" I looked at her, "Hope, I'm leaving so that I don't have to tell you. Look, I'll be back soon. When I do, we have our answer to everything. I know what you said while we were high." Alaric chimes in, "wait you two were high?" Hope shot me a look, "Uncle Ric that's a story for another time. I'm leaving tonight and nothing is going to stop me. Just to be sure that nobody does," I whispered, "ad somnum." I walked over to Hope, who was now peacefully sleeping, I leaned into her ear, "the day we meet again will be the day we save the world Hope. I love you always and forever."
