– Yeah, you! –, the cap, or rather the girl under it, grabbed Seoyeon by the shoulders and pulled her closer: – What are you doing, do you wanna get caught!??
– W- what?
The voice had a strong Daegu accent, but it was somewhat familiar, and Seoyeon was surprised at how well she could understand it: – You said caught?
The girl started dragging her up the stairs. – Yeah, caught!
– For what!??
– Shh!
Too confused to give any resistance, Seoyeon ended up following the girl outside, resurfacing on a narrow and crowded crosswalk, greeted by the sound of car horns. The girl she had talked with inside the train said something, and all the other girls dressed in dark green – the colors of Ewha University, Seoyeon finally realized – gathered around her. It was almost 12 AM, the sky was clear and the sun was at it's highest.
– Argh!, I wanna go too! –, Seoyeon's new acquaintance grumbled, still pushing and pulling her by the arm as if she were a shopping cart. After a few seconds she stopped and frowned at her like it was her fault: – So?
– ? Huh? – Seoyeon stood there, baffled.
The Ewha girl started talking, and the girl with the cap tilted her head to the side, probably telling Seoyeon something with her expression, except her cap was pulled too much down on her face and Seoyeon couldn't see anything.
– What?? –, she asked, already on edge.
– I said, I wanna go listen to what my Unnie is saying!
...
– Then go! –, Seoyeon exclaimed, flabbergasted.
– Shh! –, the girl under the cap leaned forward with her finger on her mouth before dragging away Seoyeon from the rest of the group: – That's like the first rule, don't draw too much attention!
Oh, I've had it. – What! –, Seoyeon roared, breaking free from the girl's grip. She pointed a finger at her, furious: – First you drag me up here, then you don't say anything and expect me to understand! –, she waved her plastic bag in the air, menacingly: – Who are you, and what do you want from me??
The girl with the green cap, completely ignoring that, grabbed her hand and quickly got their fingers to intertwine: – Why, what do you mean dragged you up here! –, she exclaimed in a cheerful voice: – Weren't you coming anyway?
...
Seoyeon looked at her hand holding the other girl's hand, her brain's ping rate at around 400ms: – What?
The instant after, they were already linking arms: – Oh, but I'm so glad I found someone else like me here I'll forgive you for not letting me listen to my Unnie, like, it's not like she's saying anything important, plus I listen to her everyday, but I can never talk to her or else I'll get caught, so, to be honest, I was starting to feel lonely, so I'm so glad I found you! –, the girl under the cap exclaimed: – I mean, of course I'm happy just to be here, but I'd still like to talk to someone, but if I do that obviously I'll expose myself too much and they'll find out that I shouldn't be here and so I can never get close to anyone and so I always get bored but then again I really just kinda wanna talk to them but it's not like I really wanna get close to them I mean if I'm honest I don't even wanna get close to you I just wanna get close to my Unnie but maybe you know what no what your face is kinda my style so yeah maybe we can get close but not too close because the only person I really wanna get close like I'm talking sharing a bathtub kinda close is my Unnie Yoo-
