NOW, Takemichi knew not to try and hold Hina's hand without checking if Naoto snuck between them first. Which he did, and he gently moved him aside to hold her hand, smiling at her for a moment before looking back at the fireworks.

He didn't want to go back right now.

If he did, he'd see Akkun. Terrified, shaking in his boots just by the mention of Kisaki.

He wondered what would've happened if he'd just killed him now. Maybe nothing bad would've happened.

But, then again... with all the information he'd learned from his last round, he knew even without Kisaki, Mikey would still somehow fall. He just didn't know why.

As Takemichi was walking home, he heard a pair of footsteps approaching him. As soon as he looked up, she tilted her head with a small "ah?" upon seeing him.

"Oh," the girl in glasses's eyes widened, her mouth hanging open---but not enough to let her lollipop fall out. "Hanagaki."

"Uh---Takemichi's fine," he smiled, a bit nervous. He never noticed her presence before, so he knew nothing about her. He could only wing it.

"You're hiding something."

.

.

.

"What?" Takemichi blinked.

"You," she plucked her lollipop out with a loud 'pop!' and pointed at him with it. "Are hiding something. 'Fess up, Mi-chin."

"Mi-chin...?" he shook his head. The nickname wasn't relevant right now. "What are you talking about?"

"The nickname, or the hiding part?"

"The---well, both, but mostly the latter."

She crossed her arms, popping her lolly back in her mouth. "You're all fidgety. And sweaty. You've got an air of fake confidence, I could practically smell it since we first met."

"So you smelled what I was hiding...?" he furrowed his brows.

She paused, then shrugged. "Pretty much, you're not a good liar."

He could go two ways here. Either one, he says the truth---and he says it bluntly so she doesn't believe him---or he tries to get away with it.

Still, he pondered. If she could tell I was hiding something by just looking, then she could probably tell if I lied, too.

"Just say the truth," she said blankly. That was all he needed before he took in a deep breath, shut his eyes, and blurted it all out.

"I'm a time traveller."

She eyed him for a moment before raising a brow. "And?"
