Fantasia : The Untold Truth

Chapter 4

Eric ran to the terrace in disbelief. His mind and body engulfed with rage, barged through the door and shut it behind him furiously. He couldn't think of anything besides Katherine and him getting his revenge. Aira plays a prank on Eric, which startles him. She burst intolaughter which calms Eric for a while, but he feels distressed after a while. He asks her -

"What were you doing ? Were you hiding here all the time ?"

She laughed as she looked at his serious face while she told him about what she was doing all this while. Eric was annoyed at how nonchalant and unphased Aira was by the rumours that are spreading as fast as a wildfire. He asked her about it and whether she knew about it and chose to ignore it. She did say that she heard about it but wasn't phased by it. She said that showing her anger will only make her look weak in the presence of others.

"Well then... while we're here, let's just shout at the top of our lungs and then plot", saidAira.

"What do you mean plot ?", Eric inquired.

"Plot our revenge and get back at her", Aira replied. The two shouted to their heart's content and began to plot their revenge.

The next day of school began, and things went back to the way it was. Katherine and her gangseemed to be overjoyed by what they managed to accomplish.

"HAHAHA. We managed to silence the delinquent and now she is nowhere to be seen. To be honest, she was being a bug and always involved in any matter that took place in the school.Now that she is not here, we get to do whatever we like. And also that nerd, Eric. I couldn't stand him ever since the day he stepped foot into this school. Peasants like him should never breathe the same air as me", Katherine told her gang.

"I know right ! Who do they think they are to stand out in the presence of our queen ?", Lillina responded.

"Hey ! She is not just our queen... She is 'The' Queen", Gennie added while she laughed.

Just when they thought that things were going according to the plan, a group of delinquents along with Derrick showed up to Katherine's class with a look of severe wrath on his face. The look that he gave sent a shiver down the spine of every student in the room. He marched towards the girls, demanding to know the answer to every question he had.

"YOU THERE !! YOU GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO HERE, LADY", said the enraged Derrick.

"What do you mean ? Why are you so rude all of a sudden ?", Katherine was perplexed.

"IS THIS TRUE ? WHATEVER YOU SAID IN THIS AUDIO CLIP ?!?", Derrick's tone raised as he played an audio clip of a conversation the girls had.

"Let's just ask Derrick and the other boys to do chores and favours for us. It would be amazing to have every single boy heed to whatever we say. Except for Eric... What do we do with him ?", said Katherine.

"Let's just ask Derrick to humiliate him. That will teach him some manners. He didn't fallfor the dare either way, so we can cook up a story to get Derrick on our side", Lillina suggested to which Gennie also agreed.

"That's a brilliant idea ! That way, we can get Derrick and the other boys wrapped around our fingers. Slowly, we can be the supreme girls of this school and nobody can touch us", thevoice note ended.

The girls looked shell shocked as to how Derrick out of all people managed to find out. Theywere dumbstruck as to how did someone manage to record the conversation, let alone Derrickgetting it. They began pleading for forgiveness and said that none of this was true and wasjust a joke. Derrick was not buying any of it. He banged the table so hard, he thought that Katherine had approached him just because she liked him. That was when Katherine let loose and showed her dark side -
