Third Person's P.O.V.

A little boy can be seen seated cross-legged on the floor, eyes glued to the screen.

"Rehan, what are you doing buddy?"     to which, little Rehan replied,

"I am watching some Cricket matches bhai"        the roar of the stadium filled the room vibrating through his chest as Rohit Sharma hit the ball with a resounding crack.

He'd never seen anything like it-  the speed, the power, the precision. His brothers & father cheered, his Mom just clapped, but Rehan couldn't take his eyes off the bat, imagining himself out there on the field.

Later that evening, Rehan found himself in the huge Garden of the Gigantic Mansion. A bat, he found in the storeroom, held in an awkward grip in his hands, and swung it just like Mahendra Singh Dhoni did, imagining the cheers of the crowd in his head. While from the Living Room window, were watching his Dad and Mom, smiling as they chatted looking at their Youngest son's determination.

"You seem so joyful, honey. What is it?"      Asked Mrs. Singhania.

"It's just if our Rehan wants to be a Cricketer, I will fully support him. Specially that I never got the chance to be a Cricketer, nor would my eldest son."       he replied, a distant smile on his face.

"But you do know this path would be difficult for him right?"

"Yes, I know. But we will also be there to support him throughout his Journey right?"       to which she smiled and nodded reluctantly.

A few days later...

"Look what I got you boys!"      Mr. Singhania called for his Sons entering into the living room, thanking his wife who gave him a glass of water.

"What is it Papa?"     asked Rehan, as they all stood in front of him, looking at him with curious gazes. Well, except their Mom and eldest brother who exchanged knowing glances but kept quiet. Watching as Mr. Singhania reached for his Pockets and took out something out.

"OMG! Papa you brought us Match invitations?!"      the three exclaimed together, to which their Mom and eldest brother both winced and covered their ears. Smiling when Ivaan and Rehan jumped on either sides of the couch their Dad was seated on and hugged him from either sides thanking him again and again.

"When are we going there Papa?"      questioned Sameer, as he didn't know the Timing either.

"Tomorrow evening, boys. So I expect you all to be ready by 4, since the match starts by 5:30."       he instructed, trying to sound stern, but finally smiling when he looked at his Sons' sparkling eyes.

The next day, they were all ready by 3:30 in the afternoon. Half n' hour early since Rehan wouldn't stop nagging them to get ready as he didn't wanna be late. It was in fact fun for Sameer and Avinash to tease him by not listening to him. But they complied anyway when he looked at the both with sparkly eyes full of hope.

Soon they departed for their destination, a.k.a. the stadium the Match was about to take place in. The stadium was even louder in person, and this wasn't even any official match. Rehan could barely hear his Parents and siblings over the chanting crowd, the roaring excitement as the batsmen openers from one team took to the field. For the first time in his life, he knew what he wanted. Watching the players up close, the intensity of the game, the way they moved with such purpose- he wanted to be one of them.

As the match ended and they made their way out of the stadium, Rehan held his Dad and his eldest brother's hands, his mind still racing with images of the game.

"Papa, Bhai."     he called to which they both hummed in response.

"I know what I want to do now. One day, I will just be like them, one of the Best Cricketers and make you guys proud of me."       he chirped excitedly, as his father replied.

"Yes, little man! You will."  And from that moment little Rehan's journey began. He had a slight idea, that this path of the career won't be easy for him but he also knew he can do anything till he has his Parents and siblings full support.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Hey guys! So that was it for the Prologue, hope you like it. And I am so sorry for not updating for almost 2 months now. I had no inspiration to continue the story yet, but I will update when I do get that inspiration again. Till then I will update this fanfic, yeah you all may expect untimely updates as well. Also, this book and characters are all mine (since all the characters are fictional).

Now this is important:-    This fanfic is an Indian Sports BL as you know, Cricket to be specific. This Fanfic obviously includes Yaoi romance, as well as maybe Yuri and Straight romance too. I will try my best to make it as realistic as possible. So please do vote and comment (to keep me inspired and please don't be silent readers, even five or ten comments will be sufficient to keep me going)... Thanks!
