Rehan was just 7 Years Old, when he decided he wanted to be a Cricketer. Hence he asked his father to start with his Early Trainings as he wanted to be fit for whenever he gets the chance to join his School Cricket Club. His father agreed upon observing the way his youngest son was determined,  and agreed to be his Coach.

Since it was the start of summer vacations, it was the perfect time to start with the Trainings and exercises. Rehan, initially found it hard to wake up early but after a few days got used to waking up early and often started waking up even before his father. Like every other day, they were off for jogging.

As they jogged, Rehan's father spoke, " You're getting faster everyday, Rehan. Keep it up."

Rehan, breathing heavily but with a smile, replied, "I want to be just like my Idols Virat Sir, Rohit Sir and Dhoni Sir. I am going to practice until I'm the best."

Getting back at home, Rehan transitioned from jogging to a series of stretching exercises. His father guided him through each movement. "You're doing a good job, Rehan. That's a good stretch, remember, flexibility is the key."

Rehan nodded, concentrating as he stretched his legs. "Papa, can I watch the videos again? I want to make sure my batting stance and posture is correct."

"Yes, of course son!"     his father handed him his smartphone. "Let's check out how they hold the bat, and try matching their grip."

Later, in the day, he would often be found playing Catch with his older brothers in their Garden, being careful to not damage any flowers or plants as their Mother loved the Garden a lot. "Try to catch this, Rehan," Sameer called out, as he threw the ball high in the air.

Rehan leaped up to catch it, landing back down with a grin. "Got it! Now, your turn bhai!"  he shouted as threw ball back with precision.

Avinash, his second oldest brother, laughed as he said, "You're getting really good at this, little bro."

He would dedicate afternoons to practice his Batting technique. Rehan had set up a makeshift net and practiced swinging the bat. "Papa, do you think my swing is getting better?" he asked, pausing to catch his breath.

His father watching him from the sidelines, nodded in approval "Yes, but remember to follow through. Like this" he said as he demonstrated a smooth swing, gesturing to Rehan who mimicked it.

"It's not just about hitting hard; it's about control. Watch the videos again if you need to."   His father added.

On weekends, he would participate in local friendly matches with kids his age. "Nice shot, Rehan. Keep going!"    one of his friends cheered as they fist bumped each other, grinning widely.

"Thanks! I have been practicing a lot for this. It's finally paying off, I guess", soon they were on their way back to their houses as they shared about their dreams and careers.

"Wow! That's so cool, buddy! I will surely cheer you up for your matches in the future."    his friend replied, cheerfully.

"Thanks, Advit. But that is if I do get an opportunity to prove myself."  he said, a bit gloomily. But then added, "But I will work as hard as I can to become best Cricketer in the world."   going back to his cheerful self.

"Okay, buddy! My home's this way, so it's time we get to our houses. And for sure you will be the best Cricketer, I will definitely cheer for you even from afar."      he said, his words bringing a smile upon Rehan's face. They both again fist bumped each other and parted their ways to get back at their own houses.

He would dedicate Evenings to whatever Homework or Notes work he had left to Complete them. At dinner, they would discuss about the reviews.

"Today was good, Rehan."   his father added, "But we also need to practice on your fielding skills."

Rehan nodded eagerly. "I'll practice more tomorrow. I want to do as best as I can."

"Papa, do you think I'll ever get to play in big tournaments?"     Rehan asked.

His father put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "If you keep working hard, and stay focused. There's no doubt you will achieve your dreams."

And those words were enough for him to keep going. No matter his struggles, he knew he would be able to achieve his dreams.
