In a flashing blinding red light Klaus, Luther, Allison, Diego, Five, Viktor, Ben and Lila fell into the darkness and landed hard on to a black smooth floor.
As they lay collapsed in a heap coughing and spluttering they failed to see their surroundings changing.
As their eyes blinked open the darkness had vanished around them and they were now in what appeared to be a gleaming white room.
White floors, white walls, white ceilings.
No windows, no doors.
No means of an exit.
Just an endless white void.
They looked at each other in confusion. They were wearing their usual normal clothes but had no injuries or signs of harm on them.
Almost relieved at the sight of each other but also deeply confused.
Where were they?
And how did they come here?
Helping each other to stand Alison was the first to speak "where are we?"
"h-heaven?" Luther answered not sure.
Klaus spread out his arms wide and started spinning around "we're alive"
Diego and number five looked at Lila not sure who should hug her first.
Diego went for it, and Number five watched on awkwardly.
"i don't think this is heaven we shouldn't exist Klaus?"
Klaus stopped spinning as everyone looked to him for an answer "nah i don't know i've been to the other side it didn't look like this"
"maybe its some kind of limbo then?" Viktor tried to reason
Number five scratched his forehead confused "no we shouldn't exist"
Lila and Alison shared a worried look "if we are here and we are existing then does that mean..."
"no the kids should be fine" Number Fives expression softened realizing panic was about to set in.
"well if they are fine then how are we here" Diego questioned concerned
"maybe this is where things go that shouldn't exist" Ben interjected.
Viktor and Klaus looked to him only just realizing he was there with them.
Viktor smiles at Ben almost tearful and Klaus comes over and rests a hand on his shoulder "Brother we missed you" He beams.
"wait which Ben are you?" Alison can't help but ask.
Confused by what she means Ben shook his head slightly unsure " i-i don't know all i remember was i was hugging Vanya and then i was gone and now I'm here"
"our Ben?" Number five whispered trying to click the pieces into place.
Klaus hugged Ben tightly.
Allison, Diego and Luther walked over to do the same.
Viktor approached him hesitantly.
"you changed your look?" Ben noted.
"yeah its Viktor now"
Understanding what that now means Ben embraced Viktor into a hug.
"but why would our Ben be here?" Diego asked watching Number Five mutter to himself trying to figure it out.
