Chapter Two - Here We Go Again..

Alison's eyes fluttered open, she found herself in what use to be her bedroom in the building of The Umbrella Academy. 

Her child hood home. 

It took a few moments for her to take in the surroundings because it didn't feel real, it was like a dream. 

Getting up slowly she walked over to her vanity desk and looked cautiously into the mirror it was herself that she could see. 

But seeing herself didn't feel real. 

The door bedroom creaked open and Luther poked his head round. 

"Luther" she breathed in relief. 

Knowing instantly it was truly him, without any doubt. 

She embraced him in gratitude, the both of them pleased to see each other again. 

"where are the others?" Alison asked looking past him to the hall "a-and how are we here?" 

"uh they're down stairs arguing and you'd better ask Five"

Rushing past him she hurried down the hall to the stairs with Luther just behind her. 

Just over the balcony down to where the main entrance was. She saw the others leaning against the walls, watching as  Lila stood scowling furiously at number Five "what the hell is wrong with you?" Lila shouted "why would you go make some deal with some nutcase landing us here!"

"i didn't have a choice" Five fired back "it was either accept the deal or cease to exist"

"what's going on?" Alison asked hurrying down the stairs to the others. 

"your stupid brother made a deal with that psycho woman we are now in some timeline of hers?"

"Five what does she mean?" 

Five huffed tiredly. frustrated he was now going to have to explain it again. 

"the lady i was speaking to told me she could allow us to exist in a timeline an.."

"Claires timeline?" Alison hoped eagerly 

"no!" Lila rolled her eyes "our kids don't even exist in this timeline"

"what do you mean they don't exist?" Alison grew worried 

"they do exist just in another timeline" Five tried to explain 

"i thought you said there couldn't be anymore timelines, you said we couldn't exist and us not existing would  erase all the other timelines that's why we sacrificed ourselves to save the timeline to save claire!"

"fives made a deal with some god" Viktor interjected expressionless as if trying to take in the news himself. 

"a god? you made a deal with some god?" Alison couldn't come to terms with what she was hearing 

"no not some god, shes not some god" Five signed irritated 

"then what is she then?" Lila folded her arms "what sort of sick joke is this?" she unfolded her arms and gestured to her uniform. 

Alison looked down at her own clothes and then the clothes of the others, why hadn't she noticed it before?

They were all wearing the umbrella academy uniform. 

"oh dear.... brother" Klaus came over to where Five, Alison and Lila were "you better explain the best part"

"best part?" Alison repeated looking from Klaus to Five. 

"yeah dear brother here" Klaus grinned mockingly "has made a deal where we get to live eternally if we save this world again and again and again from whatever that nutcase sends our way"

"eternally? so what we never die?" Alison felt even more confused. 

"oh no we die" Diego seethes "just over and over again"

"what he means is we never get old, we never age, we stay here living forever saving the world again and again from whatever that god sends to us and when we die the timeline resets and it keeps doing that till that god gets bored of us" Lila added 

"she's not a god" Five muttered quietly low enough that the others don't hear. 

Needing a drink. Five teleported to the bar, grabbed a bottle of the strongest vodka and poured himself a shot. 

Luther stared at him dumbfounded, looking to his arms he checked under his shirt for monkey hair. 

There was none turning to the side he punched a wall finding his fist went right through it. 

The others stared in amazement. 

They started to realize they had their powers back. 

Testing them one by one. 

The amazement quickly turned to horror as each of them quickly realized what having their powers back would mean. 

Lila looked to her husband still angry. 

"are you not going to say anything about this" Lila yelled to Diego who was sharpening his knives.

"no. Im getting ready"

"ready for what?" Lila seethed

"to kill that psycho bitch when she shows her face again , if she can do all this maybe she can put us in the right timeline with our kids,"

Lila walked over to Diego smiling "yeah thats a great idea" she looked back to the others "we'll capture her and get her to put us with our kids an.."

"would that work?" Viktor stood up "if we get her to put us in the correct timeline, could she stop.."

Five, slammed his fist down onto the bar then took another shot of Vodka. 

And then time jumped out of the bar. 

"where did he go?" Luther wondered aloud. 

"who cares we need to come up with a plan?" Lila helped Diego put his knives in the holder and then followed Alison who gestured for the talk to take place in the kitchen around the table. 

"does  anyone know if Pogo's alive....here i mean?" Viktor nodded a thanks to Ben as he handed round warm drinks. 

Some of them sniffed the warm cocoa first making sure it was safe and edible not fully yet trusting the new but familiar world they were in. 

"I don't know i've not seen him, I've not seen mom either" Diego answered sadly 

"but everything looks the same" Viktor noted eyes wandering around the familiar kitchen. 

"yeah but why our uniforms" Alison frowned "we wore them when we were kids not when we were adults"

"yeah and why am i  in them?" Lila looked to Alison confused. 

"i don't know"  Alison shrugged looking to Klaus not knowing how to answer Lila. 

"your very quiet" Viktor followed Alison's gaze

"yeah they have drugs in this timeline, he found them in his bedroom" Ben looked over disappointed 

"Drugs really? Klaus.. what did you take?" 

"ohhh ... just some B's and P's" Klaus mumbled dreamily. His eyes glazed over underneath pink rimmed sunglasses that Alison were sure belonged to her. "i thouugght why not make the most of it since we're in hell"
