My dorm is occupied with Mia having what she calls a "spa night" which includes her, well having her personal spa.
I decided to study math in the library.
Some guy tossed his English text book on the table where I was at, and then sat at the opposite side of the table.
Let me clarify though, there were many many other tables available.
"Ahh, math, Mrs.Matthews class huh," he says, kinda easy on the eyes.
I arched my brow, and gave him the who are you look.
I assumed he caught on because then he went on to say, "I'm Easton."
"Naomi," I say, glaring for interrupting my studying.
He had spikey dirty blonde hair. Underneath his long thick eyelashes were soft grey eyes. Pouty plump lips, and a well built body from what I can tell.
He looks at my notebook, arching his brow, "Need help with that?"
I would never say yes, but I need to raise my grade desperately.
I ignore my pride, "Alright fine."
"Let me look at your paper," he snatches the paper out of my hands, "Hmm..."
Easton is testing my patience and knows it damn well.
"This is all wrong, erase it," it came out more of a command than a suggestion.
"Are you kidding me? I've been working on this for an hour. You have no idea how hard I'm trying."
"Okay that's not my problem," he says, his dimples showing when he talked.
Then it hits me.
"Don't I know you?" I ask, dissecting every inch of his face. I do know him.
Then he really smiles, a genuine smile, "No, you must have mistaken me with someone else."
Mhm, liar. I just can't place where I know him.
After a few moments of awkwardly staring at each other, he says, "Alright, well I gotta run. See you around princess," I saw something flash across his face, but I couldn't catch it.
Princess. Princess. Princess. I kept replaying that word over and over in my head. I couldn't help myself but smile. For once in weeks, I felt light.
I head to my room. "Hey Mia."
"Woah, what got into you, Ms.Sunshine?"
"nothinnnn"
"Mmm, so who is this mystery guy?"
"You know Mia, you don't even know if it's a guy or not, but regardless I don't need a guy to make me happy, and neither do you," I shot her a look.
"Shuuuut uuuup!" She rolled her eyes, "boys make life interesting, without them... well, we'd be boring."
I laughed, "Mia that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard."
"Okay but back to the point! Who is this dreamy cutie that has this craaaazy effect on you. I've never seen you this happy- wait no glowing! Are you pregnate?" she gushed.
I choked on the water i was drinking, "What the hell? No I am not pregnate," I couldnt help myself but laugh, "But I don't remember his name. I wasn't paying attention," lie lie lie lie. I couldn't tell her because she would make a huge deal, and embarrass me in front of him. I didn't want Easton to get the wrong idea.
"I can see right through you, yunno. But I won't push it."
I've grown so accustomed to her. I feel like she's my rock, my home.
"How bout an avocado mask, I have leftovers."
"Sounds good," I gave her a genuine smile.
