A dark sky surrounded the place, with a shining bright moonlight--the only source of light that helped you recognize what was in front of you. The eerie silence of the night, in the middle of a forest located at the end of the city, screamed scary. Whoever tried to cross this place might be mesmerized by its outside beauty, but if you knew the true color of this place, you would not enter it--not even in your dreams.

The place where the whole of South Korea's most illegal business dealings were held--more likely, you could say this is the place where all the mafias and their leaders made deals with shaking hands, breaking bones, or sometimes speaking through guns.

----Beauty always lies under the dangerous.----

"The HELL OF ROSES"--this is what they call this place.

You may think: why, out of all luxury places, this place? Well, all the mafias and their partners are well-known people--not only in their country; some of them are world-level. So if anything happens, unfortunately it will lead them to the worst end.

Everyone would make a move or deal only after getting permission from their King--the King of the whole mafia world, also known as KIM SOOHYUN, the younger son of the previous mafia king, Elder Kim.

When Elder Kim retired from his position, there were many competitors--or should I say betrayers--obsessed dogs who were greedy to reach the place and rule the whole world. But they were messing with the same man who, from the age of 20, had taken the position of Underworld Mafia King after his father was brutally killed by one of his betrayers out of greed.

When you are the King of the underworld, where trust is considered just a five-letter word, you need to know everyone is a snake--beware of it; anyone can bite you. You don't have to trust anyone blindly; it is like a strict rule in the mafia world.

So, in order to protect innocent people out there, whoever trusted him and was loyal to Mafia King Elder Kim decided to discuss among his children. They were the ones he trusted fully, because he practically taught them each and everything to make sure they would see the value (quality or character) of people or things, not the Value (money). He taught them that even in the darkest, most helpless situations, they must stand alone loyally. Betrayal is the biggest crime in the underworld.

(Guys, please remember the people and their positions. I will mention who they are one time; afterwards I will use normal terms. Please forgive me—I won't be able to repeat it each time 😥 Also, let me tell you guys, I'm not good at identifying relationships. Please read this as only my imagination 💞)

Elder Kim's eldest son, KIM SEO-JOON, is not interested in becoming the Mafia King. His eldest son was bubbly yet firm. He was good at business and also interested in the business world. He knew all the mafia stuff, yet he told his opinion to Elder Kim (Kim Seo-joon's father). As expected, the answer was no.

He said he would always stay beside the person who became the King of the underworld and support them. He would take care of the company's CEO position to lead the business world. Elder Kim respected his decision and accepted it. Kim Seo-joon was the current CEO of KIM INDUSTRIES.

He is married to a girl who is also the daughter of Elder Kim's best buddy, Mr. Min (Yoongi's grandpa): KIM (MIN) MIN-YOUNG, who is a secretary in Kim Industries. After completing her degree, she worked in other companies to build her skills first. Elder Kim suggested she work in Kim Industries, but she declined, saying she needed more experience to work in that company. So, after 5 years of experience, she joined Kim Industries.
