The evening had been quite an adventure. Harry and Ron had just returned to their dormitory after spending some time with Hagrid. They had been hoping for a quiet night, but little did they know that the party preparations awaited them.

As they walked into their common room, Hermione, Padma, and Parvati were already there, eagerly preparing a selection of garments that looked like they belonged to a different era. Hermione's eyes sparkled with mischief as she gestured to the pile of clothes.

"Welcome back! Just in time for your final touch-up before the party!" Hermione announced, holding up a pair of frilly dresses and matching corsets with a flourish.

Harry and Ron exchanged wary glances. The events of the day had been enough, and now, faced with these dresses, their anxiety only grew.

"What's this?" Ron asked, pointing at the garments. "You've got to be kidding me."

Parvati grinned widely. "Oh no, we're very serious. You both need to look fabulous for the party tonight. And trust me, these outfits are going to make you the talk of the evening."

Harry eyed the dresses skeptically. "I'd rather not be the center of attention."

Hermione, however, was firm. "Too bad. You're going to be the stars of the show. Besides, we can't have you two going to the party in anything less than perfect."

The girls set to work immediately, starting with the corsets. Hermione helped Harry into his corset, pulling the laces tighter with each pull. Harry winced as the corset cinched his waist, giving him an hourglass figure he'd never dreamed of having.

"Breathe in," Hermione instructed, tugging on the laces. "It'll get easier once you get used to it."

Ron, meanwhile, was getting a similar treatment. Padma and Parvati worked on his corset with equal enthusiasm, and Ron couldn't help but grumble.

"This feels like a medieval torture device," he complained. "Are you sure this is necessary?"

Parvati laughed. "It's all about the look! You'll get used to it."

Once the corsets were secured, it was time for the dresses. The vibrant fabrics of the dresses were adorned with frills, ribbons, and lace, making them look like something out of a fairy tale.

Hermione held up Harry's dress. "Look at this beauty! It's perfect for the party."

Harry hesitated, but Hermione was already helping him into the dress. The process was awkward and cumbersome, with the voluminous fabric making movement difficult. The petticoat underneath added to the challenge, constantly slipping out of place.

Ron was having similar issues with his dress. The petticoat and layers of fabric were a struggle to manage, and he found himself tangled in the material more than once.
