The most ordinary person in the world— At least that's what you liked to call yourself whenever you go out to travel to different regions in Teyvat. You never had much ambition other than wanting to try unique delicacies from either world known or unknown, meeting the famous troublemaking Alice, or even attempting to break into Celestia. Ah, pretend you didn't say anything about the last one— You've made a lot of trouble for the archons in the previous past centuries doing that.
You've met plenty of people on your travels, some even lasting an impression on you... Like this guy called 'Aether', you had ran into him and his companion 'Dainsleif'. The two were traveling to see this world, making it sound as if one of them didn't belong to this universe. Probably made sense, you didn't even come from this world either, but you never considered yourself a descender in this case. Teyvat's borders often grow weak so you occasionally come to help (more like bother) Alice out to strengthen and keep unwanted beings out of the world.
'Aether', he calls himself, was telling you a story about the different worlds he traversed with his sister. The way his eyes sparkled, the edge of his lips quirking up whenever he spoke about her. You could easily tell he loved her, but if he loved his sister, his only pair of his other half— Why was he not with her? "She's... sleeping." He muttered, the happy atmosphere grew cold. Ah, perhaps you touched a sore subject.
Dainsleif, his other companion, barely breathed a word or two. He's always staring at you. Does he think you'll pose a threat to them? You don't have any interest in Khaenrei'ahn people, it's not their fault Celestia decided to bombard their nation with the mistake of others. You fed the fire more dry wood, staring up at the stars that blessed the lonely nights. "So you can use elements without a 'vision'. That's interesting... I haven't seen that in a long time." You noted, seeing how he can manipulate different elements without having one power.
Of course, you were referring the time to be... long long ago, never anything in recent times. But you were just a normal traveler, weren't you? Aether was able to deduce that you were not any normal traveler, how could you possibly be ordinary average on the mill type of NPC? You were well aware he was suspicious along with his companion, but you've never laid a hand on them or led them anywhere that would pose them a sticky situation. Although... Aether orbited around you like a planet in the solar system.
Sure the two of them got used to you traveling with them just temporarily, but Aether wondered if you would ever leave them to go back doing whatever you were up to. The three of you would chat about the stars and what other random things the three of you noticed on the journey. "Ah, little spirits. Mmm, they used to hide every time I traveled here with a friend." You weren't gonna mention Alice considering she tried to take them or bomb the rainforest for illogical reasons above and beyond. "You have been here before?" Aether inquired, curious to why you seem familiar with navigating through this thick rainforest.
You nodded, waving a little 'hello' to the Aranaras that peeked out curiously— not to mention a familiar face, but a strange new friend with golden hair as bright as the sun caught their attention. "Look, look it is Nara [name]! Did Nara [name] come with red Nara?" A small green body waddles towards you, its face permanently etched into a smile with a red scarf on it's neck. "Hello Arama." You picked up the tiny creature despite its protests in being carried. "I didn't come with red Nara this time, instead I brought a new friend."
Aether awkwardly glanced between the little vegetable creatures and you with a strange look in his eyes. "...What are they, [name]?" Arama looked up at him, staring without a blink in his dot like eyes. "Golden Nara is confused by Nara [name]. Did Nara [name] not explain?" You shook your head, confirming Arama's question as Aether continued to contemplate if this was real. "This is Arama, he's an Aranara." The weird look was enough to tell you that this boy really had trouble understanding.
