After we passed a glaring Bally i turned to Ethan. "Ethan Bally just-" he cut me off with a nod. "Yeah i know. Look just tell her i had to talk to you." he said. I got the idea that Ethan didn't like Bally. That to him, Bally is just another annoying pretty girl. I stopped thinking when Ethan stopped walking. "Well, I'll see you after this class." he said. I looked at him, "You're walking me again?" i asked not being able to not smile. "Of course." he said and kissed my cheek then left. My cheeks were red and tingles stayed where his lips were. I took my seat next to Bally. "Why we're you walking with Ethan? Are you two getting close?" she asked hissing at me. "What? No!" i cried. She huffed, "You know honey, he'll only use you." she said. Use me? Ethan wouldn't do that. "What?" i asked. "Look Ethan likes pretty, popular girls. Your pretty yeah but not popular or preppy." she explained. Bally had never put me down before. It hurt to hear those words from my best friend. "Ethan woulndn't do that." i spat. "Maybe not. Look just tell me why you two were together." she said. I thought up a lie, "He had to talk to me about something." i lied. She smiled, "Oh my god! It's me isn't it? Ethan talked to you about me!" she cried. Her eyes glowing with excitement. "Um, yeah." i mumbled. "Oh is he going to ask me out? Oh my god what does he think of me?" she fired questions that i honestly couldn't answer. The bell rang and class started the teacher demeaned silence. Bally nudged my arm, "Well?" she whispered. "I don't know Bally. Maybe." i said. She squalled and the teacher turned from the board and glared at us. "Sorry Mr. Rodes. Kaite was excited." Bally said. The class laughed and my cheeks burned. I glared at her and she just shrugged it off. She began writing down, Bally loves Ethan. I rolled my eyes, my best friend is so clue less.
