chapter five.

Ethan's POV. :)

We got out of the car, Kaite stayed a little bit away from me. "Alright, here it goes. I'm a wolf." I said. She looked at me like I stupid. "What?" she asked. "I can turn into a werewolf. So can my parents and all those guys and girls." I told her. "We're a pack." I said. She shook her head, "Prove it." she said. I gulped, "Kaite, I don't want to scare you." I told her honestly. "Ethan either prove it or not." said said and crossed her arms. I sighed and closed my eyes, I felt my body began to change and the burning take over. Soon I heard Kaite scream I looked at her. She looked so scared and backed away. Ouch, that hurt. I went to her slowly, whimpering. She backed up more and fell on her back. "Get the hell away from me." she said. I whimpered again. I went to her again and lowered my head. She looked at my fur then slowly, ever so slowly reached out and petted me. I let out a low growl, kind of like a purr. She smiled and stood up and rubbed my head. "You're really a wolf aren't you?" she asked. I shook my big head and she jumped back. I went to her and licked her cheek. "Haha, ew Ethan!" she cried. I smiled with my eyes and she came back and wrapped her little arms around my big neck. She buried her face in my soft fur. "I love you Ethan." she mumbled. I licked her face again and she laughed. I wonder if she wants a ride back.. hmm.... I bent down to her level. She looked at me funny then understood. "You want me to get on your back?" she asked. I nodded, "No! I'm to heavy." she said. I snorted and rolled my eyes. She smiled and got on, I stood slowly. She held onto my fur as I ran. I'm not going to fall or drop her, she's my baby. After a long run I could feel that she had relaxed. We went back to the car and she slowly got off me. I ran into the trees and changed back, to bad i had no clothes. "Um, Kaite?" i called. "Yeah?" she asked. I poked my head out from around the tree. "Can you get into the car and get me my shirt and boxers and jeans?" I asked. She blushed, "Yeah alright." she said and ran to get them. I changed into them and came out. Kaite wrapped her arms around me. "I'm glad you told me Ethan." she said looking up at me. I smiled down at her, "Your welcome. Look Kaite, there's something else." I said. "Your my mate. Your the girl I want to spend my life with. I need to know that you feel the same way." I told her. She smiled and kissed me, "I do." she said. I smiled then turned serious, "I need to mark you. By marking you it shows that your my mate." I said. She nodded, "Okay will it- i cut her off by biting into her shoulder. She yelped as my teeth dug into her skin. I stepped back and spit out her blood. "Ethan why?" she asked holding her bleeding shoulder. "It's marking Kaite. Don't worry it'll heal soon." I told her. She nodded and sniffled. I pulled her into my arms and ran my tongue over her wound. It was already healing nicely. "See, your alright." I said. She looked to her shoulder and then back to me. "I'm your mate." She whispered. I smiled, "Yes you are." I said and kissed her.
