Chapter 2 The Cry of Grace

Once the light had ended the three were now children. Rae had used her magic to make some plants to cover herself. Yungwoo and Hangyeol were confused on how they turned back to their child like bodies. " uh Rae why are you covered in plants?" Yungwoo asked as he saw her try to run through a purse." Well for one I have to get clothes for myself and you guys plus we need to talk about how to find the golden child and also Misty what are ages?"Rae asked as she took out outfits for them." Answer to questions: The golden child has yet to be born, and Rae is ten years old, Yungwoo eight years, Hangyeol seven and a half years old." Misty said. Rae nodded and snapped her finger together before changing into the outfits. It was peasant like clothes. Rae wore the tattered dress while boys had pants and shirt. After words she put the purse back in space pocket. Yungwoo and Hangyeol look at Rae in surprise as she did. Soon a soft breeze came through and Rae suddenly froze as she felt it on skin. " Rae whats wrong" Hangyeol asked seeing her look ready to bolt." When I saw run go fast and systems get ready to explain the processes to them!" Rae said loudly her voice sound of worry and fear. Rae soon turned her head towards the east and the boys couldn't see what she saw. All of sudden they felt a rumble through out the woods." Run" Rae said before summoning pair of daggers. Yungwoo grabbed Hangyeol hand and ran towards the North. Yungwoo body small and still not developed had hard time running through the woods. Petals and Sweets tried to make the run easier on their hosts.

" Do not worry about Rae, Hangyeol she dealt with worse, but we need to get you two some where safe we can help her if needed." Sweets said as they tried to clam down Him. " I can't help it she only ten and she already helping us" Hangyeol said having tears in his eyes as felt the guilt of pain not knowing will happen." Yungwoo take a breather we need to help you to unlock your weapons." Petals said once they got in a clearing. Once they stopped both the boys had fell down. Yungwoo was on his knees breathing where Hangyeol was on his back panting. " Hangyeol try to reach out and feel your weapons soul" Sweets said as he tried to encourage him to rise. Unfortunately it didn't works since Hangyeol couldn't even think at the moment since his body was not used to the consent strain as he would express as an adult. Yungwoo thought though was a dark landscape. Everything in his mind was about how Rae sacrifice herself and now they failed. You couldn't even let her take,no you let her down was he thought. It can't even be possible for you to live with your self as she slowly dies from the pain the creature does to her. It could eat her and they would never save this world. Yungwoo felt the eyes of criticism on him as he slowly let his tears fall down. Petals for her to not go to him and help him to keep out of his head, was the hardest thing she need to do for him.Before the thoughts got worse, they heard a scream. Rae was in trouble. Yungwoo froze before he could keep making the situation worse for himself. He stood up and raised his hand out. " I'm not going to sit here and let someone else get hurt because of me" He said as he let all his pent emotion out.

Flashback

Yungwoo was playing with his school mates at the soccer field. He was enjoying the moment when he saw the a weird light coming towards him. The light soon took over everything that could be seen. The world soon stopped. Yungwoo saw a creature in the corner of his eyes. He made a move to save his friend when a creature tackled him. The Creature look that of an insect. He thrashed in its hold before one of his school mates hit with a ball. The creature came after his friend after that. Yungwoo watched in horror as the creature rip his friends head off. The blood splatter was covering in its wake. Yungwoo soon had a hand grabbed him. The hand owner dragged him away from the creature that was feasting the on body of late friend. The sicken crunches of each bite would be the fuel of his nightmare for many days. The world after that had gone to ash as the black curse as it was called.

Hangyeol had him found after the first attack. The two soon went to a shelter witch then became their home for many years. The black curse had appeared when they boys were about ten when it appeared . Through the days of beyond the initial attack was progressively worse. The Curse just made everything constantly worse with it bring Monsters and new diseases. Each day they saw kids,good people, and heroes die. Yungwoo had many of the then team mates in the unit he was put in died do to them trying to protect him. The worse death was when his leader and him was on mission to get medicine for the kids, when it happened. On this mission they had to go to the hospital and find something they could use in the base. The hospital was littered in bodies of those who never came back. No one knew what the monster looked like,so many of them just went in unassuming for what would happen. One day Yungwoo and his leader were slowly making away into the hospital and they got to one of the medicine cabinets when it appeared.
