Chapter 666: Zhang Family’s Troubles

The turmoil in the palace was one of the few events that occurred at the Capital City.

Sound of porcelains breaking could be heard even from a distance away. There were a lot of servants who were still awake, but they didn't dare to step forward and disturb their master in fear of getting killed accidentally.

"Leave him be!" Official Zhang yelled. He huffed and sat down on his chair with anger. "Damn that woman! I should have never let her off!"    

An official was someone who would have their actions monitored by others. Zhang Dan Shui's mother came to him in the afternoon and demanded for divorce. She didn't even care about how he would look like in front of other people.    

Being watched like that infuriated him.    

In the end, he had no other choice but to accept her unreasonable request. Watching her crying and acting like that, Official Zhang didn't really have any other method to wash this stain.

"Are you really going to let him off just like that?" Zhang Dan Shang's mother asked hysterically. She has always been the proud Madam Zhang who had good status and respected by other people.
