Mom dropped me off at the pool.
She payed for me to get in and then she left me with Fleur and Fleur's mom, Mrs. K.
Fleur's mom is just as nice as Fleur.
She has short hair and the biggest smile.
Her laugh makes me feel good, and happy.
It makes me want to smile like that too.
"Nova!" Fleur says as she hugs me.
"We're glad you made it!" Mrs. K tells me, as she looks around for a place to sit.
"Thank you for inviting me." I say, as I follow her with the bag my mom packed under my armpit.
I glance around,
Anxiously.
At the kids
Screaming
Cheering
Playing.
But then I smile.
That'll be Fleur and I soon.
Fleur and I quickly rip of our clothes,
Our swimsuits underneath them.
I slap my goggles onto my eyes,
Pulling the strap over my head.
"Careful!" Mrs. K calls to us as when run
To the edge of the pool.
"WE WILL MOM!" Fleur screams back.
Then we jump in,
Splashing each other.
Going down the slide.
Climbing up and down the fun interactive ladder.
I offered her some dried strawberries.
She didn't like them,
Though.
We both rinsed off in the locker room together,
The warm water beating against us as we
Giggled and talked about our favorite
YouTubers
Games
Colors
Songs.
We both like Gacha content.
We both like Uno.
We both like blue.
And we both like Siren by Kalie Morgue
Then,
Mrs. K brought me home.
Her car smelled nice,
Like fresh pine needles and cinnamon.
I like the way she talks,
It's just like her laugh and smile.
Sincere and sweet.
When she drops me off,
Fleur says goodbye to me,
And gives me the biggest hug.
Mrs. K says goodbye too.
I like them.
Both.
A lot.
I hope I get to play with her again.
