𝐀 𝐅𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐀 was in her room listening to jenni rivera's song, mariposa de barrio.
Chris knocked on valentina's door.
Valentina didn't hear and kept singing.
"Mariposa de barrio La que vive cantando La oruga ha transformado Su dolor en color", sang valentina as she spinned.
"Vale!", exclaimed chris.
Valentina lowered down the song and opened the door.
"What?", asked valentina.
"Your sister wants to play with you", replied chris.
"Dad- I really don't want to, tell her I said no", said valentina and shrugged.
She closed the door but chris held it.
Valentina sighed.
"I really don't feel like going outside right now, okay?", said valentina.
Chris looked at the framed photo of selena holding a two year old selena on the wall.
"Fine, but if she asks again, you go play outside with her", said chris.
Valentina sighed and closed the door.
She turned up the volume and listened.

Valentina lowered the song and looked around.
"Dad! Did you call me?", asked valentina.
"No, why?", asked chris from the living room.
"Nevermind", replied valentina and turned up the song.
"Mariposa de barrio La que vive cantando La oruga ha transformado Su dolor en color", sang valentina.
"Mariposa de barrio Que vuela del aplauso Porque fue donde encontró El verdadero amor Vive en los escenarios Porque fue donde encontró El verdadero amor Mariposa de barrio", sang valentina one last time.
The song finished and valentina sat on her bed.
She held her mp3 player and skipped through a few songs and stopped at selena's dreaming of you.
Valentina layed down and stared at the ceiling while listening to the song.
