𖧷 - 2012, the release of chris' book about selena
"Do you plan on reading the book?", asked the interviewer.
Chris was next to valentina and turned his head to look at her.
"I do, I love the cover of the book, she looks very beautiful", replied valentina with a smile.
"Did valentina go to most of the concerts and tours?", asked the interviewer.
"She did, but I don't think she remembers it", replied chris.
"I watch a lot of videos of my mom with me, I just love hearing her speak", said valentina.
"I watch them with her most of the time", said chris.
"Is it true that you went to a jenni rivera concert last year?", asked the interviewer.
"Yes, I finally got to meet her, I was so happy, I got a backstage pass and we met", replied valentina.
"Have you watched the selena movie?", asked the interviewer.
"I have-", replied valentina and was cut off.
"Many times, I lost count after sixteen", said chris.
The interviewer and valentina laughed.
"You sound exactly like your mom", said the interviewer.
"Now you're making me cry", said valentina and smiled a bit.
"We heard you are now a singer, just like your mom", said the interviewer.
Valentina nodded.
Chris smiled.
"Yeah, I wanna sing english and spanish", said valentina.
"I'm proud of her, selena would too", said chris.
"What songs do you listen to of your mom?", asked the interviewer.
Valentina looked up for a second then at the interviewer.
"I love listening to everything, especially dreaming of you", replied valentina.
"What about you chris?", asked the interviewer.
"He can't especially to dreaming of you, he gets emotional- I have to-", replied valentina and was cut off.
"Sorry mija, I always tell her to put on her earphones", said chris.
Valentina rested her hear on chris' shoulder.
"Do you have a lot of pictures of you with your mom?", asked the interviewer.
"I do, I have them in my room, like on the walls, I get up and first thing in the morning I see is her, I love seeing her each morning I wake up", replied valentina with a smile.
"I've seen a photo of you with your parents, you look like you're eating pizza and selena and chris are kissing each of your cheek", said the interviewer.
Valentina smiled and looked at chris.
"I remember that, when selena took her to try pizza for the first time ever", said chris.
"Papa always tells me that I had sauce on the dress my mom put on me that night and he got to wash it", said valentina and laughed along with the interviewer.
Chris smiled.
"If you had a minute with your mother, what would you say? What would you do?", asked the interviewer.
"I would hug her, I would just hug her, I wish she was here, all the things we could've done together", replied valentina while looking down at her hands.
"Anything you keep from selena?", asked the interviewer while looking at chris.
"A blouse with her perfume, in a bag, I poke a hole so I can remember how she smelled, then I immediately seal the hole", replied chris.
Valentina felt her eyes start to form tears and rested her head on chris' shoulder.
