Bakugou x y/n - UA Highschool First Year

The Run

HELLO MY AVOCADOS! YESTERDAY I GOT MY FIRST FOLLOWER! THANK YOU SO MUCH @SakuraMHA13 FOR FOLLOWING ME!

     For a while you were wondering if Bakugou had been thinking about you today. You figured he was. At least a little bit. As you drifted to sleep, you remember what Bakugou had said the day before and wondered whether it was true or not. You still felt hurt by it but you tried not to be considering you didn't know for sure if he really meant it. You tried so hard but... the words just wouldn't go away, and you felt a warm drip of liquid fall down your cheek.

You were crying.

     The next morning you feel sick again. You had expected this, though. You did feel better than you did the day before, and you are able to sit up relatively easily. You yawn and decide that, as sick as you are, you want to work out a little bit. Not a hard one, just an easy, calm workout. You get out of bed and get ready for the workout. You make a smoothie to drink after and put it in the fridge. You decide to go for a run instead of just a calm workout so you change into some running clothes and grab your headphones and walk out the door.

     You connected your headphones to your phone and put on some music. You started running down the street. It is Saturday, so no one is at school, which is why you are a little nervous about running into anyone you know.

     As you are running, you pass by a park with kids and dogs and other people running around, having fun. You smile, happy to see everyone else happy. You continue running and pass by an alleyway when you literally run into someone.

"Bakugou?"

     Why is he here?! you think to yourself in surprise. You pause your music and suddenly remember what he had said to you a couple days before. You start running again, ignoring him, but he starts running faster behind you and catches up quickly. He grabs your arm to stop you. "Why are you running away from me?" he asks. "AND I THOUGHT YOU WERE SICK, DA** IT!" "I-I am sick!" you reply. "I'm just going for a run!" "But you started running away from me like I wasn't there!"

     Wow. He didn't seem to remember what he had said before. "Don't tell me I need to remind you about what you said a couple days ago!" you say, tears filling your eyes unexpectedly. "Wait, what? What are you ta... oh. I remember. Y/n I-" You pull away from him and start running again, but he catches up and grabs your arm like before. "Y/n listen... don't... don't tell anyone I said this but... I'm sorry. I didn't mean any of that. I promise I didn't. I was just embarrassed by you asking me if I liked you. I mean, I don't have a crush on you or anything but I don't hate you, got it? I'm sorry."

     You are shocked to hear Bakugou apologize. When did he ever apologize for anything?! You wipe your tears away and look at Bakugou. "I... I forgive you Bakugou, but... that really hurt..."

"I know, and I really am sorry..."

     You force a slight smile before saying, "I should get going, but I really do appreciate the apology." He nods and lets go of your arm. You resume your music and he watches you run off.
