As soon as I say someone's in the house both of their attention snaps to me. I pull out the footage of living room and my blood boils when I see Vaani in the hands of the man in the house.

"And he fucking has Vaani." I say pulling out the gun from my waist band and Ved has a look of panic on his face before he covers up and pulling out his gun and bolting out of the room. I am about to do the same but stop when I see no moment beside me.

I look beside me and see Idhant sitting carelessly with a cold expression on his face, "You know if you want this alliance this is the best fucking time to prove it." I state and bolt out of the room without waiting for his reply.

I hear Vaani crying and I run towards living room and I see more than 10 men surrounding everyone and holding them to gunpoint.

"You motherfucker put my daughter down before I remove your disgusting existence from the world." Rooh yells and the man holding Vaani just chuckle before pressing the gun more into Vanni's head and her cries intensifies.

I raise my gun, "LEAVE. HER. NOW." I grit out and immediately a guy comes and put the gun on my head. The man holding Vaani looks at me, "Or what?" he says, and I hold back my groan when I see skull tattoo on his neck which is identification of Rana's men.

There is no fucking way that 2 powerful families are after us.

"Papa, I no like this" Vaani cries louder and I see Ved's heart-breaking seeing Vaani on gun point before his face and voice turns 10 times colder, "Put her down and tell me what you want." He states and I sigh because I know they won't go like this. We all are not stressed about ourselves. It will take 2 second for all of us to flip and kill the ones holding guns to our head but in this Vaani would be target.

"Ah, tum log kab badloge? Tumhe kya lagta hai paiso se sab-" his words are cut in between from a gunshot fired in between his eyes and his body falls to the floor. Vaani immediately runs to the man that shot him.

(Ah, when will you guys change? Do you think you can buy anything from mon-)

Idhant.

My immediate reaction comes flipping the guy holding gun at me to the floor while twisting his hand and shooting him on the spot. I look at Ved, Roh and dad killing all of them not giving even a single chance to do anything. I sigh in relief when I seen all of them dead.

He might have saved her but what if she got hurt? What if that guy shot her before? YES HE SAVED HER BUT SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT.

I look around and see Idhant holding crying Vaani in his arms with her head in his neck hiding.

Rooh run to her daughter and pulls her in her arms and taking her to couch while my family circles around her to calm her down.

I skip to Idhant and grab his wrist before dragging him to the closest room and shoving him inside while locking the room, "ARE FUCKING OUT OF YOUR MIND?" I yell as I turn to face him while he just rolls his eyes, "I did what I had to." he says carelessly.

"AND SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT." I yell not liking his careless behavior, "But she didn't, right?" he answers, and my eyes snap to his blue eyes as I walk to him.

"She is not familiar with guns and blood. She's fucking 5 only so I don't give a flying fuck if she didn't get hurt but she could have. Then what you fucker?" I asked way too pissed because of his emotionless face.

"Watch your tone when you speak to me Sanvi." He grits out and I scoff, "Fucking Psycho" I mutter, and he smirks, "Glad you know that now."

"If she would even had a single scratch to her and I would have personally helped Rooh to cut your limbs." I grit and his features changes from emotionless to amused, "She is fine." he says.

"IDHANT YOU ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN SHOT BY OTHER GUYS." I shout to make him understand my point.

His face hardens before he backs me to the wall trapping me and putting his hand around my neck, "Raise your voice at me again. I dare you." he grits out. Maybe I should? Should I? No. I think I should. No, gods please no.

"Put my family in danger again, I dare you." I copy him saying the same thing as his fingers tightens around my neck slightly while his other hand part my legs before stepping between them, "I saved her life."

"By putting it in danger." I correct and I know he is right. He did save her but thinking about my baby getting hurt is annoying the shit out of me.

His blue eyes get darker as he pulls me closer to him by my neck. "You're a brave little thing, I'll give you that." he whispers while looking at my face intently. The temperature of room drops suddenly. He didn't just comment about my height. This motherfucker. I AM NOT SHORT. I AM 5'5 AND I AM NOT THAT SHORT.

"Call me little and the next moment you'll be laying on the ground dead." I state and he smirks a little, "Would you be covered in blood?" He asks and I roll my eyes, "Crazy fucker."

"Leave me." I state trying to push him away, "Make me." He whispers.

"Okay" I smirk before my hand goes into his waist band pulling his gun out than kneeing him in the stomach and then kicking him back and pointing the gun to his forehead.

"That was so fucking hot, do it again." he says and my smirk falls. What? This man is idiotic fucking psychopath. "Stay away from me and my family." I state leaving him and moving out of the room with his gun still in my hands. I notice a small diamond attached to it and I tuck the gun into the waist band.

I see Rooh holding Vaani as Karan and Unnati playing with her. Ved and Dad telling guards to tighten the security and install new cameras and alerting devices while mom is instruction maids to clean the mess made during the encounter and telling them to leave afterwards.

I sigh thinking about what Vaani has to go through at such a young age. We always try to keep her away from guns and violence till today.
