Maniks pov :

Did she just run away from me ?

We have our English class now . Okay maybe now I'll get to talk to her .

As I entered the class with cabir . Few of the girls started batting their eyes .
Hi manik , hi manik ... yeah yeah yeah .

Soha suddenly came to me and started pulling me by my neck .

Soha:  " Hi babe ! Shall we hang out together later after class ?

She purred . Literally purred .

I slowly push her off me . Cabir rolls his eyes and says Soha, didn't you just had your tongue in the football douche's troat.

Soha gets pissed and leaves stamping her foot.

"God this is getting annoying " I say.
Cabir just laughs .

I search for nandini .
Okay she's not here. I see her  friend though.

"Mukti ! Hey..Am.. where is your friend?"

She left home . She says still looking at her phone .

Is nandini avoiding me now? Great ! She's the one who gave me a letter and she's avoiding seeing me .

Mukti finally looks up.

Mukti : what's your business with her anyways ?

Wait ! So her friend doesn't know that she wrote me a letter ?

Manik : aa.. nothing.. just stuff.. anyways see ya !

She gives me a "really" look.

I say quickly leaving and taking my seat.

Later after school ...

I go her place .. and ring the bell. She lives just 5 blocks away.

An old lady opens the door.

Manik : hi ! Is nandini home . I'm her classmate ?you're ..?
I ask unsure.

Carol : oh I'm the house help . Actually No one's home right now . Nandini is probably in that bakery down the street..

Manik : oh cool ! Thanks

I say and smile.

Then I  reach there  and I spot nandini sitting inside .

I slide in the chair beside .

Third person pov:

Nandini was drinking her strawberry milkshake.  When she looks beside she's surprised to see manik and immediately looks back at her drink.

The waitress comes.

Waitress: nandini sweetheart, do you need anything else ? And what about your friend ?

She says looking at Manik.

Nandini: he's not with me .
She says looking away.
