Sequel to Flame On!
Takes place during the events of The Boys Season 2.
Y/N, the Human Torch, was one of the few genuine heroes in the world, but after a battle against Homelander, he lost his life-or at least, that's what the world thought.
Beneath the cold, dark waters of the Brooklyn Bridge, The Deep swims, his eyes scanning the depths, he notices something — a body floating down, charred and near unrecognizable, but Deep could only assume it to be Y/N, the Human Torch.
Reacting quickly, the Deep swims up to the body and gently pulls it to the surface. As he prepares to swim toward the shore and contact Homelander, he spots a Vought-owned yacht approaching, its sleek, black hull cutting through the water toward him.
Deep: "What the..."
The yacht pulls alongside him, and Vought soldiers appear on the deck, helping Deep hoist Y/N’s body aboard.
INT. YACHT OFFICE - NIGHT
The Vought soldiers escort the Deep into the luxurious confines of the yacht, leading him into a lavish office space. Sitting behind a large desk, impeccably calm and composed, is Stan Edgar, the CEO of Vought.

Mr. Edgar: "Deep. Please, have a seat."
Deep places Y/N's charred body on the ground, carefully setting him down, and then takes a seat, looking uneasy. Edgar, however, remains unfazed, his eyes briefly glancing at Y/N before settling back on the Deep.
Mr. Edgar: "The company appreciates your efforts in recovering the Human Torch’s body. We’ll take care of the situation from here."
Deep: "Actually... I'm supposed to report back to Homelander if I find anything. He’s expecting a call—"
Mr. Edgar: "That won’t be necessary."
The Deep blinks, unsure of how to respond, but before he can argue further, Edgar continues, his voice as calm and authoritative as ever.
Mr. Edgar: "You’ll tell Homelander that you were unable to find the body. Perhaps you’ll tell him some sharks took care of it."
Deep looks conflicted, unsure if he should lie Homelander.
Deep: "I don’t know... What if Homelander finds out I’m lying?"
Edgar’s expression doesn’t change, but he leans forward slightly, adding a little more weight to his words.
Mr. Edgar: "When was the last time you had a movie?"
The Deep frowns, considering. It's been a long time since Vought pushed him into any high-profile projects.
Deep: "It’s... been a while."
Mr. Edgar: "Do this for me, and I’ll ensure the company starts production on a new movie for you."
That offer clearly appeals to the Deep, and he leans back in his chair, nodding slowly.
Deep: "Okay. But... what if Homelander figures out something’s off?"
Stan Edgar, unbothered, meets the Deep’s gaze.
Mr. Edgar: "Send him my way. I’ll handle Homelander."
The room is silent, save for the soft hum of the yacht’s engines. The Deep glances down at Y/N’s lifeless body, then back at Edgar. The Vought soldiers step forward, escorting Deep out of the office and off the yacht, leaving Edgar alone with the body of the Human Torch.
Stan Edgar stands over Y/N’s charred form, his gaze inscrutable. The silence in the room is heavy, only broken by the subtle sounds of the yacht cutting through the water. Edgar remains still, staring at Y/N’s body in quiet contemplation.
