Detention

Y/N's POV:

It's the next day.

I was walking through the hallway, heading towards my next class.
There was a group of girls and some other students too.
One of the girls came to me and the rest followed behind her like minions.

"Look who it is! The glitter girl, who's of course an ugly nerd too!" She says. "Uhmm, who are you?" I ask. "I'm Sarah. This is Angela and Maddie." She nods her head in the direction of them as she said their name.
"What do you want from me?".
"Oh nothing. We just wanted to speak some facts. To start off with, you are so ugly! And a nerd, like do you really think you're smart? And to not even start on your body! O.M.G! It's the fattest body i've ever seen in my whole life. You're like a pig. You eat SO much! But i don't blame you. Cause how would you know? Every time you try to stand in front of a mirror to look at yourself, it breaks. Since you're that damn ugly!" Sarah said chuckling.

My expression turns a sad as she called me fat. I was bullied at my previous school too and hoped it wouldn't happen again if i change schools.

"Just leave me alone." I reply before i walk past the trio.
Walking off, they keep laughing at me.

Mattheo's POV:

I was on my way to my next class as i see 3 girls picking on Y/N.
She walks away and the trio looks at her go, laughing.

Before i could even think about what i was doing, i walk up to them.

"What's your problem?!" I ask. They turn around and the girl standing at the front checks me out, looking me up and down.

S: "Hey handsome, i'm Sarah."

M: "I don't care who you are. Why did you say these things to her?"

S: "Glitter girl you mean?"

M: "Her name is Y/N."

S: "Glitter girl. So anyway, what are you doing later?"

M: "Definitely not you. I'm busy. But answer my question now. Why did you sat these things?"

S: "Because it's true. She's an ugly, fat nerd."

Without realizing, i push Sarah against a locker. "Ouch, what's wrong with you?!" She says. I came closer and grabbed her by the collar.
"Dare to say those things again about Y/N." I warned her. She looks scared. As she should.

Suddenly i feel a hand on my shoulder, pulling me away from the girl.
"Mattheo Riddle! What do you think you're doing? This behaviour is unacceptable! We do not tolerate this here. This deserves a punishment. Detention!" Professor McGonagall yelled at me.
"But-" i tried but she stopped me from talking and sended me off to class.
Annoyed but also shocked because of what i just did, i walk to DADA class. I was already late tho.

Why did i defend Y/N? I don't even like her so why would i even give a fuck about what others say? And i now have detention cause of it too!

Y/N's POV:

Detention?! DETENTION??!! Professor Umbridge gave me fucking DETENTION for talking with my friend in class. We only said 1 little thing to eachother.
Nah, she's not Umbridge!
She's more like Umbitch! I hate her so much! She's so annoying and bossy and AAGHHH!!!

Time passes by and school ended. Well not for me. I still have detention with Slughorn. Since that Umbitch had 'better things to do'.

I walk into the classroom and see... MATTHEO?! What. Is. He. Doing. Here? No please, i already had to deal with Umbitch, not him too.

As i walk in he smirks at me. I roll my eyes in response and sit down on a chair at the desk next to him.

"Ah, there you are miss Y/L/N!" Slughorn says. "I just received a mail. I have to do something. But you 2 can stay here while i'm gone. I'll be back in a bit!"  The professor announced. He walk out of the classroom and leaves me and Mattheo there, alone.

M: "Sooo... Guess it's just you and me now huh...?"

Y/N: "I guess so.. Sadly enough."

M: "It's a blessing that you can spend time with me!"

Y/N: "A blessing? More like a curse!"

M: "yeah yeah. So tell me, what did you do?"

Y/N: "It was that Umbitch! I was talking with my friend, and of course i was talking right at the moment she looked!"

M: "Umbitch?" He chuckled

Y/N: "Yeah, she is a real bitch!"

M: "I agree. She's annoying and bossy. Kinda like you."

Y/N: "Ugh, but let's just not get started on how annoying and impossible YOU are!"

M: "You're way worse, admit it."

Y/N: "I will never admit something that's not true."

M: "Then you should admit it, cause you are princess."

Y/N: "I'm not and don't call me that, Riddle!"

M: "Ah yeah, involving my last name now huh? But i'm sorry, your highness."

Y/N: "Impossible, as i said."

M: "Yeah yeaaahhh, believe whatever you want."

Y/N: "But what did you do to end up here?"

M: "It's none of your business."

Y/N: "Don't be a dick like you usually are and just tell me!"

M: "There was just a girl who was annoying me and i get angry and pushed her against a locker. And -of course, what else did i expect- a teacher was there, professor McGonagall, she gave me detention."

Y/N: "Wow, so we're pushing people into lockers now for irritating us."

M: "Why would you even care?"

Y/N: "I don't. Not now, not tomorrow, not next week, not next mon-"

M: "YES, yes! I get it!" He interrupts me

"Okay then... ughhh, i'm so bored. I wish i could just get out of here and leave already!" I sigh.
There falls a shirt silence between us.
"I could get us out if here." Mattheo suddenly says. "How? The door is locked and Slughhorn has the key." I ask, giving him a side eye.
"Give me your hairpin." He replied. "What, no why would i-". "Give it to me!!" He yelled.
I slightly get startled by his yelling but eventually do as he says.

"What are you going to do with it?" I ask as i get up from my seat and follow him to the door. "Open the door, dumbass." Mattheo said.
"That's not going to work, dumbass". "It will."
I just roll my eyes at him and watch as he tries to open it.

He looks so focused. His tongue is partly sticking out of his mouth in concentration.
He looks so handsome, damn. Still don't like him tho. Never will. Ew, just the thought!

I was lost in my own thoughts when all of a sudden...

Chapter 5 is finished!
At the end i didn't do Mattheo's POV since i don't think it's worth the few sentences. Like what do i need to write?
'I was sitting in detention + door opened, Y/N came in. Didn't expect her here + we had a convo + i tried to open the locked door with her hairpin'
It's not really worth it so yeah. I'm sorry if you still wanted it.
But anywayyy, i'm sorry for not posting in a full week or so. I don't have the time because of school. And after school i'm too tired to write + it's late when i get back (around 5 pm).
Tomorrow i will possibly write chap 6, not sure and def not sure if i'll post it, in case i finish it (i first write it in Word and afterwards i have to fully type all of it on my phone, here on Wattpad).
