Part 5: Making her fall for me

Margaux’s POV

          After ko makipagmeet dun sa katext ko. Wala pa ring pagbabago si Jayner pa rin talaga. Aasa na lang siguro ako habang panahon.

          Nga pala flag ceremony ngayon. Monday eh, tuwing ganitong araw lang naman kami nagflaflagceremony.

          “Panatang makabayan…” chu chu cheberlu. Haixt ang init na. sayang ang glutta…sa ground kasi kame nag flaflagceromony.

          “Ok before you go to your respective classroom. we will have an intermission number?”

          Narinig ko yung angalan nung iba. Ang init na kasi tapos may intermission chuchu pang nalalaman.

          Then may nagplay na song. Nagulat ako nung nakita kong tumayo si Jayner sa unahan with his guitar.

ENCHANTED

          There I was again tonight, forcing laughter, faking smiles

Same old, tired place lonely place

Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy

The playful conversation starts, counter all your quick remarks

Like passing notes in secrecy

The lingering question kept me up, 2 a.m., who do you love?

“Ang swerte naman ng babaeng yun.” bulong ko sa sarili ko.

Nagpatuloy pa sya sa pagsasalita.

“ I hate her when she smiles because it makes me crazy about her. I hate her when I see her because it makes me love her more. I love you Margaux Molina.”

          Hindi ko alam kung ano nararamdaman ko. Sobrang saya ko all this time mahal nya rin pala ako.

          Lumapit sya sa akin. Habang lumalapit sya lalo ring bumibilis yung tibok ng puso ko. “Can you be my girlfriend?” the question that I want him to ask me.

          “Sorry but I don’t know how to court girls. This is just what I know that can make you say Yes, but if you say no for this time I will do everything to make you fall for me.”

“Wala ka nang dapat gawin para mahalin kita dahil sa simula pa lang ikaw na talaga. Salamat dahil minahal mo ako.” naiiyak ako sa sobrang tuwa.  “I love you too, Jayner Santiago and I am your girlfriend. I’m all yours.”
