Autumn passed by me like a breeze,
Everything's too fast, I don't feel at ease.
I close my eyes hoping time would freeze;
Just to keep this moment I whisper a desperate "please."

"What was that about?" Jaemin interrogated Sunyoung, who was on his right, as they walked through the street.

It wasn't as pitch-black as most streets were— thanks to the few scattered streetlights casting weak, yellowish light, as well as the moonlight that hovered over them in this cold winter.

The ground is uneven, a mix of cobblestone and wet dirt (due to the melted snow), with the occasional scrap of paper drifting past and both individuals carried on with their sauntering as the breeze passed them by.

Sunyoung gulped at his question; her left hand sank into her coat's pockets while her right hand held the chocolate milk carton before her mouth— taking a few sips as she kept her eyes on the grey, cold, and debris-filled ground.

She then cleared her throat before replying with an awful and hasty: "Nothing," before drinking again— giving away the lie that Jaemin already saw through.

Jaemin shook his head as he chuckled; he felt amused at the way she still tried to conceal the truth when she knew he would know anyway— therefore giving him ideas of her embarrassment and shame about whatever situation they had.

"Do you like him?" Jaemin beamed annoyingly to her face. The satori accent he did when saying it while he wiggled his eyebrows made it worse as Sunyoung choked on her chocolate milk— coughing in pain at his sudden question.

"Jaemin-," she coughed while covering her mouth as Jaemin laughed at her while patting her back, offering both a teasing and concerned approach.

"Wha- what- kind-, of-," Sunyoung beat her chest with her left hand to try and stop the cough. She was taken aback by his bold assumption that it made her feel flustered— she never saw it that way until he pointed it out— feeling embarrassed.

When it finally subsided, Sunyoung looked Jaemin in the eye— harsh, strong, and sharp lasers shooting through the laughing one's eyes as she nudged her elbow against his side, causing Jaemin to flinch in pain.

"Ouch!" Jaemin lets out as he rubs his side, groaning at its pain. "Ah, I'm sorry! It's not like I wanted you to choke, you know? I just asked a genuine question."
